Goonies LEGO Ideas Set Launches Tonight With 2 Free GWP Offers

November 2025 is shaping up to be a great month for LEGO fans, and it kicks off strong with the long-awaited LEGO Ideas Goonies set (21363). Available starting October 31st/November 1st, the set offers good value, and its release is accompanied by two exciting free gifts. This launch is particularly special, as Ke Huy Quan is revisiting his iconic role as Data. Let’s take a closer look at everything this release has to offer.

LEGO Ideas The Goonies Set Features

The LEGO Ideas Goonies set brings the beloved 1985 movie to life! With 2912 pieces, you can build a detailed scene from the film’s treasure hunt. It includes the Fratellis’ hideout and caves, One-Eyed Willy’s treasure room, and even working traps and secret passages. Plus, the back of the model cleverly incorporates the hull of the pirate ship, the Inferno, adding even more detail and fun.

The game features interactive elements like dropping boulders and opening trapdoors using the Copper Bones Skeleton Key. You can even play the Skeleton Organ, but be careful – hitting the wrong key triggers a surprise, just like in the movie. Plus, the game is packed with Easter eggs, including a reference to the famous deleted scene with the octopus.

The set includes 12 minifigures: Mikey, Mouth, Chunk, Andy, Data, Stef, Brand, Sloth, Jake Fratelli, Francis Fratelli, Mama Fratelli, and One-Eyed Willy. Now that you’ve seen how great this LEGO Goonies set is, let’s discuss its release date, availability, and price – you’ll be happy with what we’ve found!

Data is Back!

Ke Huy Quan, the Academy Award-winning actor known as Data, is back to showcase the LEGO set in a fun new video. If you’re a fan of The Goonies and hoping for a sequel, this is the next best thing! You can watch the video and read Quan’s thoughts on the project on the LEGO shop’s product page.

Ke Huy Quan shared how much fun it was to revisit his character Data from ‘The Goonies’ as a LEGO set. He said the set perfectly captures the movie’s themes of heart, adventure, and friendship, and it feels like reliving the experience of filming, but now he can share that joy with a new generation of fans. He especially loved the attention to detail, like the booby traps and treasure room.

The LEGO Ideas The Goonies set was created by Vaggelis Ntezes, a 3D artist from Greece who goes by “Delusion Brick” on the LEGO Ideas platform. He shared that the project was a nostalgic trip back to his childhood: “I revisited memories of growing up in the 80s, building with LEGO Pirates, and watching The Goonies. I wanted to create something playful and visually appealing, combining nostalgia, imagination, and creativity.” The set features the iconic Inferno and the film’s cave system with its traps, aiming to capture the adventurous spirit of the movie. Ntezes hopes it will bring enjoyment to both longtime fans and a new generation.
