Gordon Ramsay is giving insight into his health battle.

In addition to sharing two images displaying a sewing line extending from his ear’s bottom to his jaw, which was subsequently concealed by a bandage, the well-known British culinary expert disclosed that he recently had a treatment for skin cancer.

On August 30, Gordon expressed his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the swift, effective treatment by The Skin Associates team in dealing with his Basal Cell Carcinoma. He also reminded everyone to remember their sunscreen this weekend.

Skin cancer known as basal cell carcinoma commonly develops due to prolonged sun exposure causing harmful UV rays. According to the Mayo Clinic, this type of tumor typically manifests as a translucent-looking lump on the skin.

“I promise you it’s not a face lift,” the 54-year-old continued. “I’d need a refund…”

The celebrity from Kitchen Nightmares, who has children Megan (age 27), Jack (25), Holly (25), Matilda (23), Oscar (6), and Jesse (21 months) with wife Tana Ramsay, has maintained a positive and humorous attitude during this situation.
