It has come to my attention that First Force, in a move most modern, is preparing to
unleash a collection of Telegram tokens upon society on the 17th of June. One hears
it is to be a grand affair, quite possibly the largest of its kind within the TON
ecosystem.
According to a missive dispatched to crypto.news, this First Force token collection
shall consist of no fewer than 10,000 unique Soulbound Tokens, or SBTs, each inspired
by the TAC community. TAC, you must understand, is a blockchain designed to allow
EVM dApps access to the TON and Telegram user base. One shudders to think of the
implications!
Each NFT is to be valued at 30 TON, which, in today’s fluctuating market, amounts to
approximately $100. It is whispered that TON has risen by a shocking 4% in the last
24 hours, reaching the dizzying height of $3.29. Such volatility! 😮
These tokens, once acquired, are permanently affixed to the holder’s wallet, preventing
any transfer or sale. This, they say, reflects the SBT concept of anchoring one’s
digital identity on-chain. Consequently, a strict limit of one mint per wallet has
been imposed. How very…restrictive.
By possessing one of these unique SBTs, holders are promised access to future
community-driven experiences and opportunities. The possibilities! 🤔
Whitelist registrations for this SBT collection commence on this very day, June 10th.
The first phase, beginning on June 17th, will see a distribution of 2,000 mint slots.
The second phase, however, shall proceed on a first-come, first-served basis. Such
unseemly haste! Traders will have the opportunity to mint these TAC-inspired tokens
on TON’s NFT marketplace, Getgems, where a further 8,000 SBTs will be made available
through a public watchlist.
The artwork, I am told, features TACMAN, a robot-like identity much favored by the TAC
community. One can only imagine the artistic merit. 🤖
TAC, it seems, was conceived with the aim of simplifying the deployment of Ethereum
dApps on the TON blockchain. Thus, First Force dedicates this new collection to the
builders and early supporters of the protocol, whose efforts have, allegedly, helped
to “bring Ethereum’s open innovation to the heart of Telegram.” How very generous of
them.
In April last, TAC, in collaboration with Agglayer, hosted a networking event at
Topgolf Dubai on April 30th. The event brought together industry leaders from both
the EVM space and TON ecosystems. A veritable who’s who of the digital age, no doubt.
