*Warning – contains major spoilers for Grace season 6 episode 2.*
As a big fan of ‘Grace,’ I thought the latest episode, number six, was really interesting. The main case revolved around the death of a student at the university, but what I really liked was how they cleverly wove in bits and pieces connecting it to the larger mystery of what happened to Sandy. It felt like everything’s starting to come together, even though it’s still a slow burn.
In the final episode of season 5, Roy learned a shocking truth from the crooked officer Cassian Pewe: his wife, Sandy, hadn’t died in an accident, but was murdered by the Benchdale gang because she owed them money. Now, the gang – led by the dangerous Albazi – is targeting Roy and Sandy’s son, Bruno.
Things were really tough for Albazi at the beginning of season 6 – he was facing prosecution, but it looked like the case might fall apart. Then, in episode 2, Glenn gave Roy some exciting news! He’d found a potential lead – a guy in Munich who ran a garage and was apparently the one to go to if you needed a stolen car or fake license plates. We were all hoping this guy could help turn things around!
Glenn proposed traveling to Munich to investigate whether Albazi or someone working for him had obtained the car involved in Sandy’s death. This trip could both gather the evidence needed to convict Albazi and confirm that Sandy was, in fact, murdered, as Cassian claimed.
Glenn objected and offered to go to Munich instead. He felt Roy was too involved and would draw unwanted notice, and Roy eventually conceded.

In the episode’s final moments, Glenn followed through with his plan and went to Munich to meet his source. The source admitted to selling the car involved in Sandy’s accident and provided Glenn with the name of an individual with a criminal record throughout Europe.
I just heard from Glenn – he’s been looking into things, and it’s starting to look like Cassian was right. It seems Sandy was actually killed by the Benchdale gang. I was saying it out loud, and my son, Bruno, overheard. Now he knows the truth about what happened to his mother, which is… a lot to process.
Okay, so Glenn’s trip to Munich actually seemed to pay off – it felt like he and Roy were finally making progress. But then, that last little twist at the end? Total game changer. It seriously threw a wrench into everything, and now I’m worried things are about to get really complicated.
Glenn’s contact, who he’d met in Munich, was spotted on the phone reporting that he’d completed the task he was assigned, but warned that someone was starting to suspect something.

They then asked him for the officer’s name, and he replied with a chilling tone, stating, “Glenn Branson. He has a wife and two children.”
Glenn might have been trying to help a friend, but did his actions unintentionally endanger his own family by digging too deep?
During a recent online discussion about the new season, John Simm hinted that his character, Roy, and Glenn will have a disagreement in an upcoming episode. This argument might be related to the ongoing investigation of the Sandy case.
Simm explained that the conflict arises because the characters are flawed and relatable, saying, “They’re under a lot of pressure, they’re not perfect, and they mess up – and that’s what makes them so appealing. They feel like real people.”
