Graham Norton Jokes About Signing NDA Ahead of Taylor Swift’s Wedding

Graham Norton is keeping Taylor Swift’s secret.

Since the longtime talk show host received an invitation to Taylor Swift’s wedding to Travis Kelce, he’s decided not to share any details about the “beautiful” event.

During the January 27th episode of their podcast, Wanging On, Graham told his cohost, Maria McErlane, that he couldn’t discuss something because he had signed numerous non-disclosure agreements.

Graham jokingly claimed he’s secretly the one marrying Taylor Swift, saying Travis Kelce has ‘stepped down’ and he’ll be the one surprising everyone at the wedding.

Maria was disappointed to learn that Graham would be bringing his husband, Jono McLeod, as his plus one, not her. He jokingly but firmly stated he would never bring anyone else, saying, “Over my husband’s dead body.”

Taylor Swift, who announced her engagement to Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce in August, invited Jason Kelce to her wedding while playfully hinting at some details during his podcast.

Taylor playfully responded to a question about the date, saying, “You’ll find out soon enough—I was actually planning to invite you!”

I remember when Graham playfully hinted that if he was being invited to something, it must be a really big deal! And Taylor just confirmed it – she said it was huge. It was such a cute exchange!

Taylor promised Graham and the other guests that her wedding would be spectacular, as she and her fiancé are planning a lavish celebration.

“I’m really looking forward to it,” she said. “Planning will be enjoyable, I think, because the only weddings that seem stressful are the ones with tight guest lists where it’s hard to decide who to invite.”

You know, everyone’s been asking about Taylor and Travis keeping their celebration small, but honestly, that’s not on the table! Taylor wants this to be a really fun, big party – she’s not interested in limiting the guest list just to keep things private. She’s all about having a blast with everyone she loves.

“This is going to be fun,” she said, then immediately wondered if she’d invited too many people. She quickly regretted what she’d said.

Travis Kelce has said that, due to his football schedule, a wedding with Taylor Swift would likely have to wait until the summer.

In a January 2025 podcast episode, Travis told his brother Jason Kelce that he’s noticed a trend: his friends always get married in the summer. He’s been to weddings in all sorts of places, but never in the fall, which makes him wonder if fall is even a popular time to get married.

It’s hard to imagine Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce having a wedding on a date that doesn’t hold special significance, especially for Taylor.

Taylor Swift, a known lover of the number 13 and patterns, shared her enthusiasm for numerology and dates during a recent two-hour appearance on her fiancé Travis Kelce’s podcast, New Heights. Interestingly, the podcast episode aired 13 days before their engagement announcement, though Travis’s father mentioned they had already told close friends and family about their relationship three days prior. Swift described finding this kind of thing ‘really fun.’

Travis’s plans after his current contract ends in 2025 will influence when they set their wedding date. If he continues playing football, they’ll plan the wedding during the off-season, sometime between February after the Super Bowl and the start of training camp in July.

If Travis retires after 13 seasons – which feels strange to think about – he’ll be able to get married, potentially in October, Taylor’s favorite month. The exact timing will depend on whether Taylor announces a tour for her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, which was released on October 3rd, and when that tour might be.

Taylor Swift is famous for her close group of celebrity friends, but she revealed in October 2025 that she hadn’t started planning her bachelorette party yet.

She admitted she wasn’t one of those people who dreamed about their wedding day forever. In fact, she hadn’t given any thought to getting married at all until she met the person she wanted to marry, she shared on U.K.’s Heart Breakfast.

I hadn’t really considered having a bachelorette party at all, to be honest. This is the first time it’s crossed my mind.

Plus, she added of her gal pals, “They’re so fun but they’re so busy.”

When Taylor picks out a white dress, it’s going to be one to remember.

Ignoring the cost of her clothes and jewelry, the singer’s style is comfortably stylish. She favors timeless looks with a modern edge, often choosing designs from established brands like Oscar de la Renta, Elie Saab, Louis Vuitton, Zuhair Murad, and J. Mendel.

After the wedding ceremony, where she’ll wear a beautiful gown, the tall bride plans to change into a more comfortable dress so she can dance all night.

We’re excited to see how she incorporates the traditional wedding elements – something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue – into her look.

Even Vera Wang, a leading expert on wedding dresses, believes Taylor Swift will likely wear a lace dress, and possibly multiple outfits.

Travis is also into fashion, so he’s excited to choose a wedding suit that really reflects his personality.

He proposed while wearing shorts – it was a hot August day in Kansas, after all – and people online started jokingly challenging him to wear shorts for the wedding too. However, that would be a pretty bold choice, and he probably wants the focus to be on his partner, who will be wearing a beautiful dress.

Although, if showing off his knees was important to him…

Taylor Swift clarified to Cosmopolitan in 2012 that she hadn’t chosen a tuxedo for her future husband, explaining she wanted him to feel like his presence mattered.

Taylor and Travis both deeply value family, so their parents and brothers are naturally key people in the wedding. Jason Kelce, likely to be Travis’s best man, shares two young daughters, Wyatt and Elliotte, with his wife Kylie. Depending on the wedding date, his younger sister Bennett might also be a flower girl, though baby Finnley will probably be too young to participate.

It will be interesting to see which of Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs teammates are invited, but he was a groomsman at Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes’ wedding in 2022, so we know at least one teammate – and coach Andy Reid – will be there. Plus, he’s maintained a close group of friends from his high school days in Cleveland Heights, so his bachelor party – likely filled with golf and beer – is going to be a lot of fun.

Taylor Swift’s childhood friend, Abigail Anderson, continues to be a close and important person in her life. Although Taylor’s group of friends has changed over time, Selena Gomez remains a key part of her inner circle, often exchanging gifts like homemade sourdough bread. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are also still close, despite recent rumors about a falling out related to the actress’s legal issues.

Also, Taylor is already a godmother to Blake and Ryan’s daughters, so she’s a natural fit to consider as a flower girl.

It’s easy to imagine a friend or family member becoming ordained to lead the wedding ceremony, but we doubt Flavor Flav will be the one doing it.

On the September 17th episode of New Heights, Travis shared his preference for live music, saying, “I think we’re just live music kind of people.”

Ugh, we knew it, we’re so on the same page.

Even if the bride doesn’t perform, she has lots of talented friends who are great singers. We’re particularly excited about the possibility of seeing Haim perform!

But Taylor joked it “would be hard to keep” Ed Sheeran from performing at her wedding.

She explained in an October 2025 interview with Hits Radio that Ed has a natural inclination to perform. “It’s like he’s drawn to the stage,” she said, adding that he understands his audience and aims to deliver what they enjoy.

Taylor may love Travis so much she’d marry him with paper rings, but that won’t be the case.

If he continues to play sports, he might switch to a more flexible wedding band, but for now, his fiancée’s ring—an Old Mine Brilliant Cut diamond chosen by Travis from Artifex Fine Jewelry and designed by Kindred Lubeck—is the one he’ll be wearing.

The ring has a long, central diamond with smaller diamonds on either side, all set in yellow gold that’s been specially engraved. It perfectly complements the $27,300 Cartier watch he used when he proposed.

Just how massive will this white veil occasion be?

Taylor Swift shared on The Graham Norton Show in October that she preferred not to deal with the pressure of deciding who to invite to her wedding, because narrowing down the guest list would force her to consider the strength of her relationships with people.

And, she added, “I’m not gonna do that.”

Comedian Nikki Glaser, a self-proclaimed fan of Taylor Swift, believes a large wedding is on the horizon. She told TopMob News at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, “Everything has been building up to this,” suggesting a significant celebration is likely.

The comedian pointed out that because Taylor Swift is constantly in the spotlight – essentially treated like a bride every day – her wedding will probably be kept very private.

Nikki said she knows the person just wants to share the happy occasion with everyone she loves, and she has a large circle of friends and family. Nikki jokingly added that she’s anticipating photos taken from a helicopter will inevitably find a way to bother her.

As soon as the wedding is over and the couple drives off, Taylor will definitely begin sharing photos and videos from her wedding with her fans.
