On their own, Polyphony Digital – creators of the exclusive PS5 racing simulation game “Gran Turismo 7” – have unveiled a fresh new online platform. This platform showcases an extensive library containing every vehicle accessible within the game as of now. Notably, this digital repository boasts a diverse range of 539 unique cars, each one playable in “Gran Turismo 7,” starting from July 2025.
On the website, not only are the cars listed, but you’ll find an abundance of additional information such as technical specifications like engine displacement, dimensions (length, height), drivetrain, peak torque, type of aspiration, power output measured in brake horsepower and RPM, along with images of the vehicle. Furthermore, each car listing is supplemented with several photos and a concise description that outlines its history.
The site provides multiple methods for users to explore the selection of vehicles; options include sorting by manufacturer, country/region, as well as unique filters like drivetrain, power output, and weight. For instance, the heaviest vehicles in ‘Gran Turismo 7’ (as per this website) are the Himedic ’21 (2860 kg), F-150 SVT Raptor ’11 (2,724 kg), and Tundra TRD Pro ’19 (2,555 kg). Conversely, the lightest vehicles in the game are the Racing Kart 125 Shifter (105 kg), the 2&4 powered by RC213V (405 kg), and the Chaparral 2X VGT (450 kg).
Additionally, you’ll find unclassified vehicles on the site, such as concept cars like the NISSAN Concept 2020 VGT, and prototypes such as the AFEELA Prototype 2024. These are innovative models that are either still in development or have been designed for showcasing new ideas.
Over the years since its launch in March 2022, Gran Turismo 7 has received numerous updates. As a result, players can now explore new additions such as the ’05 NISMO R34 GT-R Z-Tune and the Qashqai Tekna 190 2wd e-Power. These cars were introduced as part of a free update towards the end of July, which is available to check out on the game’s official website.
Since its debut, the car selection in Gran Turismo 7 has noticeably grown. Alongside this expansion, the game has also undergone various enhancements. For example, an update from July 2024 introduced advancements to the game’s physics simulation model, focusing on tire and suspension physics. This upgrade resulted in a more authentic driving experience due to the implementation of weight shifting that feels more true-to-life when navigating sharp turns.
The popular racing game, Gran Turismo 7, can be played on both PS4 and PS5 consoles. Previously, there were whispers that the game might also appear on PC platforms, following Sony’s pattern of releasing first-party games on PC a while after their initial console launch. However, as recently as February this year, fresh rumors suggest that the planned PC port has been put on hold in secret. Regrettably, no explanations have been given for this decision.
