Gravity Falls Returns This Year With Long-Awaited Release

Even after ten years since its finale, Gravity Falls is still one of Disney Channel’s most popular animated shows, alongside hits like Phineas & Ferb, Amphibia, and The Owl House. Many fans continue to enjoy the adventures of Dipper, Mabel, and Grunkle Stan, and were beginning to lose hope for any new content. Fortunately, Disney has a surprise in store and is bringing the series back this fall!

After years of requests from fans, a new art book for the Disney animated series Gravity Falls is coming out this fall! Titled The Art of Gravity Falls, it will be released on September 15th and includes never-before-seen looks at the Mystery Shack and other locations. The book will feature both familiar characters like Dipper, Mabel, and Grunkle Stan, as well as their original concept designs. Knowing how Gravity Falls loves to hide secrets, fans can expect to find hidden clues and details within the artwork. You can pre-order it now by clicking here.

What’s in The Gravity Falls Artbook?

Although the new art book for Gravity Falls hasn’t shown everything yet, Disney has given fans a sneak peek of what’s inside. The book, titled The Art of Gravity Falls, will reveal the complete visual history of the show, with series creator Alex Hirsch and co-writer Rob Renzetti sharing artwork from Hirsch’s personal archives. It includes early character designs, ideas for episodes that were never made, jokes that didn’t make the final cut, hidden details, and even every single one of Mabel’s sweaters! It promises a fascinating look behind the scenes at the making of Gravity Falls.

I was glad to discover there was more to the book than just visuals. It also promised a look behind the scenes of Gravity Falls. It includes interviews with the people who actually made the show, plus a foreword written by animation icon James Baxter. Essentially, it’s a tribute to the artists and a guide for anyone hoping to create their own animated series. The book really makes you feel like you’re about to enter the Mystery Shack – it’s incredibly inviting!

Considering how many animated shows are being brought back these days, it’s surprising that a sequel to Gravity Falls hasn’t been officially announced. Still, there’s reason to be optimistic, as rumors have circulated for years – even from Disney leaders – suggesting the show could return with its creator, Alex Hirsch, leading the way.
