Grey’s Anatomy season 22 has returned from its break, and viewers won’t have to wait much longer to see what happens next.

The season began with a difficult time for Dr. Jo Wilson (Camilla Luddington), who experienced a serious health scare right after the shocking death of Dr. Monica Beltran (Natalie Morales).

After Dr. Wilson faced health issues related to her twin pregnancy at the end of the previous episode, fans are anxious to find out what happens next and which characters will be back for the new season.

Good news for fans in the UK! Season 22 of Grey’s Anatomy will be back from its break with episode 8, “Heavy On Me,” on Friday, January 16th, 2026, on Disney+.

This will be the date following the US release on ABC and Hulu.

  7. Skyfall – 8th January 2026 – Winston and Ben fight to save Jo’s life, while Teddy supports Link. Owen and Jules battle to save a young man, and Lucas forms an unexpected bond with a patient.

Grey’s Anatomy season 22 release schedule: When do new episodes land on Disney+?

Season 22 of Grey’s Anatomy will premiere on ABC Thursdays at 10 PM Eastern Time, and episodes will also be available to stream on Hulu.

Episodes will land on Disney+ the following day, so UK viewers won’t have long to wait.

Episode 8 is set to air on ABC on 15th January and will hit Disney+ on the 16th.
