I’m so excited! I just heard that GRIDbeat!, the rhythm dungeon crawler I’ve been following, is finally coming out on March 26th! It’ll be available on both Switch and Steam, which is awesome.
According to Ridiculous Games, their new game, GRIDbeat!, centers around rhythm. Senior producer Jaime Bencia explained that the game’s movement, action, and even enemy battles are all driven by the electric soundtrack. The team is excited to share the game with players and thanks Acclaim for their support in making it a reality.
Here is an overview of the game, via Acclaim:
About
Welcome to GRIDbeat!
This game is a fast-paced, music-driven adventure through a digital world. You have to time your actions to the beat, or the whole system will crash!
You’ve successfully hacked into Knoss.OS, the most secure corporate network on the planet, and stolen valuable data. But now you’re stuck inside, pursued by aggressive security systems and dangerous viruses. Your only chance of escape is to connect with the network itself, synchronize with its rhythm, and get out before it completely shuts you down.
