Guide: Battlefield 6 Beta: All Early Access Start Times and Server Queue Wait Times

As a fellow gaming enthusiast, I’m excited to share some news about Battlefield 6! EA has announced they’re organizing several beta tests before the game launches in October. That means we gamers get a sneak peek at this new FPS title before it hits the shelves! This guide is your go-to source for all things related to the beta, including when exactly Battlefield 6 beta starts (times vary), and how long you might need to wait in the server queue during the Battlefield 6 beta tests. So, let’s gear up and jump into the action together!

What Time Does Battlefield 6 Beta Early Access Start?

The Battlefield 6 beta is unfolding across three distinct phases, with two of these phases being accessible to all players regardless of whether they have a code or not. Pre-loading for the beta is currently open, allowing you to participate on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms including Steam, Epic Games Store, and the EA App.

During our advancement through the testing phases, we plan to revise this article accordingly. The early access phase for the Battlefield 6 beta commences at the time indicated at the bottom in your local timezone.

  • North America: 1am PDT / 2am MDT / 3am CDT / 4am EDT
  • UK/Ire: 9am BST

How Long Will the Battlefield 6 Beta Server Queue Wait Time Be?

During the early access phase of Battlefield 6’s beta, the game is experiencing high demand, causing the servers to be filled to capacity. To manage this influx of players, a queue system has been established. Even if you find yourself in a queue with many thousands of other gamers ahead of you, it doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t get to play – just that you may need to wait a bit before jumping into the action.

EA is constantly adding new servers to handle the growing number of players, so you should expect to join the Battlefield 6 beta soon. Keep in mind that the waiting time might vary based on the number of active servers and the current queue length.

How Do You Get Early Access to Battlefield 6 Beta?

Update (1st August 13:00 BST):

Since the finale of the Battlefield 6 reveal event, it’s regrettable to say that Twitch Drops for early access beta codes are no longer available. If you hadn’t been involved in Battlefield Labs prior to the event, then there’s unfortunately no other method to secure a code. You’ll have to hold on until Weekend 1, starting on 9th August, to play, unless Electronic Arts decides to distribute more codes in the upcoming days.

by participating in past Battlefield Labs events or watching Twitch streams for possible drops.

  • All participants in Battlefield Labs from before today (31st July) get early access to the beta
  • Watch currently live Twitch streamers to get an early access code in a Twitch Drop

If you’ve landed on this page following the Battlefield 6 reveal event and discovered that all Twitch Drops have been claimed, I regret to inform you that you must now patiently wait for the upcoming two weekends offering full access. Sadly, an early access beta code will not be provided through the Phantom Edition. Unless Electronic Arts decides to distribute codes in a promotional giveaway, securing one seems unlikely at this time.
