I recently played Stray, and it was such a unique experience! You play as a charming little cat exploring a cool, futuristic city filled with robots. It first came out on PlayStation and PC, but now you can even play it on Xbox and Switch. BlueTwelve Studio and Annapurna Interactive really nailed the atmosphere – it’s a pretty linear game, but getting around as a cat, using all that agility to solve puzzles, was brilliant. I loved it so much, I gave it an 8 out of 10 in my review!
This Stray guide covers everything you need to know about the game. You’ll find a complete walkthrough, details on locating all collectibles, instructions for earning all Trophies and the Platinum Trophy, and answers to common questions. If you’re stuck or just need help with Stray, you’ve come to the right place!

Stray Guide: Tips and Tricks for Beginners
Here, we’re offering some fast and helpful tips to get you going in Stray.
Jumps Are Calculated

In Stray, you can’t jump whenever and wherever you like. To jump, you need to walk up to the edge of something first. Look for an ‘X’ button prompt to appear over where you want to land, and then press the button to jump. If you don’t see the prompt, you can’t reach that spot and will need to find a different way. It might take a little getting used to, but it quickly becomes natural, and it even makes you feel like a graceful cat!
Press Triangle to Interact

The game is full of charming little ways to act like a cat! You can scratch furniture, find cozy spots to nap, and even play with toys. These actions don’t really affect the gameplay, but they’re fun and help you feel like a true feline.
Check Out the Inventory
Pressing the Up button on the D-pad opens your droid’s inventory. You’ll find all the items you’re carrying, plus any B-12 Memories you’ve collected. It’s a good idea to check it out – you can examine items in 3D, and more importantly, Memories will give you a distorted hint about where to find them. That’s really helpful!
You Can Replay Chapters If You Miss Something

Okay, so Stray is split into chapters that flow right into each other. I was worried when I realized I’d missed some collectibles or a Trophy, but thankfully, there’s a way to go back! From the main menu, just choose ‘Start Game’, pick your save, and then select a chapter. The best part? You can replay any chapter you’ve already finished without losing any of the stuff you’ve already collected. It’s perfect for going back and cleaning up anything you missed.
