January, the longest month, is finished! As we’ve mentioned, things are going to get very busy with releases from now on.
This week sees the release of highly anticipated titles like Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined and Nioh 3. Carmageddon: Rogue Shift is another game that might be worth checking out.
Here are all the new games coming out next week.
New PS5, PS4 Games Next Week (2nd-8th February)
- Tiny Biomes (4th February – PS5): “The natural order has been disrupted, and it’s up to you to set things straight again! Travel to the forest, volcano and winter biomes as a brainteasing top-down adventure ensues.”
- Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined (5th February – PS5): “As a bright-eyed young fisherman’s son, you’ve lived your entire life on the peaceful island of Estard. Your journey begins with a simple question: is there more to the world than this small island kingdom?”
- Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass (5th February – PS5): “The game takes place in the dream of an eight-year-old boy. When an alien entity appears and threatens his family and the stability of the dream world itself, Jimmy sets out on an adventure to save his family and eradicate the threat of the Pulsating Mass. Along the way, Jimmy will have to work with his family, confront his own shortcomings, and brave the creeping nightmares of his subconscious.”
- Lovish (5th February – PS5): “Lovish is an outrageous 8-bit action-adventure game! Quest with Sir Solomon through a series of bite-sized rooms, as he attempts to free Princess Tsuna, the woman he loves, from the Devil Lord’s clutches!”
- Bandit Trap (6th February – PS5): “Welcome to Bandit Trap – the world’s most outrageously over-engineered home security company. This isn’t just a game. It’s a live-fire field test of traps, tools, and total mayhem.”
- Carmageddon: Rogue Shift (6th February – PS5): “The legendary Carmageddon engine tears into 2050’s post‑apocalyptic streets. By day the skyline smolders; by night zombie hordes – the Wasted – flood every avenue. Your only way out is to win the Carmageddon: a chain of lethal underground races whose champion earns a shot at the last spaceport beyond the mountains.”
- JDM: Japanese Drift Master (6th February – PS5): “JDM: Japanese Drift Master is an homage to Japan, Japanese street racing culture and drift. It’s an open world, story-driven experience, blending Tōge (mountainous) serpentines, with narrow rural roads and vast highways leading to a modern cityscape. With licensed cars and robust tuning options it’s a drifting paradise come true!”
- My Hero Academia: All’s Justice (6th February – PS5): “SMASH through My Hero Academia’s final story arc and triumph over your foes in spectacular 3v3 battles! Follow Deku and the journeys of other characters in the Final War between Heroes and Villains, and experience the world-shaking, climactic clash between One For All and All For One in MY HERO ACADEMIA: All’s Justice!”
- Nioh 3 (6th February – PS5): “Nioh 3 is the latest game in the dark samurai action RPG series.”
- Snow Bros Classic Collection (6th February – PS5): “Toaplan’s hit Snow Bros is back! This arcade-style, fixed-screen platformer follows brothers Nick and Tom through epic levels in the Kingdom of Hottoda to save two trapped princesses, each possessing the magic of snow… and the only hope for the realm. As evil King Atchich seeks to take over the world, the snowmen we love must set out to storm the enemy’s fortress and rescue their princesses!”
