Guide: These 18+ New PS5, PS4, and PS Plus Games Are Coming Out Next Week (1st-7th September)

Next week brings a truly impressive array of new releases as we step into September, boasting no fewer than 18 diverse options – a far cry from the usual padding with less substantial content.

Some notable titles are Hell Is Us, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Cronos: The New Dawn, and NBA 2K26, among others. These represent quite a few significant games.

These are all the new PS5 and PS4 games coming out next week.

New PS5, PS4 Games Next Week (1st-7th September)

  • Bad Cheese (1st September – PS5, PS4): “Bad Cheese is a psychological horror inspired by the eerie charm of 1920s animation. Step into the tiny paws of a mouse spending the weekend at home with a dysfunctional Dad while Mom’s away. Be on your best behavior and KEEP DADDY HAPPY.”
  • Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island (1st September – PS5, PS4): “You’re shipwrecked on a lost mythical island. Explore the dynamic island and its story sandbox to build new friendships, solve the mystery and save the gods.”
  • Aces of Thunder (2nd September – PSVR2): “Experience the thrill of aerial combat like never before with Aces of Thunder, the upcoming VR flight simulation game with high fidelity graphics made specifically with capabilities of latest generation VR helmets in mind.”
  • Lapin (2nd September – PS5, PS4): “LAPIN is a 2D precision platformer game featuring a group of brave rabbit explorers. Break through life-threatening obstacles with precise controls, and embark on an adventure filled with new encounters and stunning landscapes!”
  • Metal Eden (2nd September – PS5): “METAL EDEN is an adrenaline-rush sci-fi FPS. The advanced HYPER UNIT ASKA is sent on a suicide mission to rescue the citizens’ CORES from the vast monolithic city MOEBIUS once a hopeful new home for humanity now turned into a deadly trap.”
  • Deadzone Rogue (3rd September – PS5): “Deadzone: Rogue is a roguelite FPS set in space. Blast through hordes of enemies with devastating weapons. Define your combat style with powerful augments and upgrades. Grow stronger with each death, solo or in co-op. Fight. Die. Revive. Repeat.”

  • Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel (3rd September – PS5): “Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel is a gripping roguelike horde-survivor game set in the dark realms of Norse Mythology. Fight waves of enemies to earn divine blessings of ancient Viking Deities, explore hostile worlds and face powerful bosses. Become a god-like warrior in this ultimate showdown.”
  • Adventure of Samsara (4th September – PS5, PS4): “Adventure of Samsara is a mysterious, 2D Metroidvania action-adventure that captures the spirit of the original Atari 2600 title, Adventure, and takes it in an entirely new and unique direction.”
  • Fling to the Finish (4th September – PS5, PS4): “In Fling to the Finish, teams of two players race through colorful, chaotic obstacle courses while tethered by a stretchy elastic rope.”
