Arc System Works is wrapping up Season 4 of “Guilty Gear Strive” grandly by introducing Lucy, a character from “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.” Despite her primary role as a Netrunner, Lucy’s fighting abilities are renowned. In a fresh guide video, the developer explains how these skills manifest in the realm of “Guilty Gear.
First off, she wields her Monowire, capable of transitioning into various slices or building up energy for a powerful launched assault. Charged attacks not only deal damage but also instigate Short Nerve Circuit, momentarily restricting an adversary’s movements for subsequent swipes. The unique aspect is Quickhack, which drains 50% of tension and enables deployment of debilitating effects on enemies.
You might want to make Lucy more elusive for your adversary, decrease their anxiety level by minimizing Tension Gauge increases, and even revitalize her health with every strike you land. Keep in mind that Quickhacks can be combined, but each one comes with a RAM price, so use them strategically.
Lucy makes her appearance in the game ‘Guilty Gear Strive’ on August 21st at a price of $6.99 as a standalone character or with Season Pass 4. Moving forward, Arc System Works plans to launch Version 2.00 for the fighter next year, which includes two new characters and additional features.
