Developer Dead Astronauts, formed by experienced developers from companies like Massive Entertainment and Epic Games, just revealed its first game, HAEX. It’s a first-person shooter with survival elements and multiplayer, set in a wild, alien landscape covered in a mysterious mist.

In the game HAEX, players take on the role of scientists who must find their missing team members after a helicopter crash. They wake up in an unfamiliar place, having been sent to investigate a strange anomaly that appeared in the remote, northern regions of the Arctic.

As a player, I’m really focused on uncovering the source of this strange anomaly – what even caused it to happen? But it’s not just that; we’re also desperately trying to find out what happened to the other members of our expedition. People are disappearing, and it’s all super mysterious, so figuring that out is a huge part of the game.

HAEX is a game you can enjoy on your own or with up to three friends. You’ll face dangers like alien creatures and mysterious machines emerging from the fog. The environment itself will also be a challenge, so you need to be prepared for anything that comes your way.

Players will need to carefully manage several vital stats, including body temperature, hunger, and thirst, as well as their available supplies. Preparing the right gear is also crucial for success. To overcome challenges and different enemies, players will have to adapt their strategies and switch up their tactics frequently.

Your progress in the game will be saved, so you can always pick up where you left off, even if your friends aren’t playing. You won’t lose anything by playing solo!

Currently, HAEX doesn’t have a confirmed release date. It’s planned to launch as an Early Access game on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store.
