Hailee Steinfeld’s Mom Reacts to Her & Josh Allen’s Major Milestones

Cheri Steinfeld knows her family is filled with starting players.

Hailee Steinfeld’s mother recently celebrated both her daughter, the star of Sinners, and her husband, Josh Allen, after they each reached major accomplishments in their careers on the same day.

Hailee, who is expecting her first child with a football quarterback, had a successful night on January 11th at the 2026 Golden Globes. Her film, Sinners, won awards for both Best Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, and Best Score. You can find a complete list of Golden Globe winners here.

Earlier that Sunday, Josh Allen quarterbacked the Buffalo Bills to a win in their first NFL playoff game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Cheri definitely thinks both performances were amazing and worthy of a standing ovation. She even shared a post online the next day expressing how fortunate their future child will be to have such gifted parents.

A recent Instagram post celebrated the baby of Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen, calling them instantly iconic. The post highlighted Hailee attending the Golden Globes after her success in the popular show Sinners, and Josh winning his first NFL playoff game on the road, which thrilled Bills fans and quieted the opposing stadium.

Cheri also gave a special shout-out to her family. She shared another side-by-side photo of Josh and Hailee, who got married in May after dating for a year, and wrote, “A mother is being a mother, and a father is definitely fathering!”

Oh my gosh, it wasn’t just Cheri who was completely obsessed with Hailee at the Golden Globes! I was scrolling through Instagram and saw Josh – Hailee’s husband, you guys! – reposted the picture of her in that stunning Prada gown. And the caption? Forget words, it was ALL emojis – like, drooling and heart eyes galore! She looked incredible, gently showing off her baby bump, and he was clearly mesmerized. Seriously, can they be any cuter?! I’m officially living for this power couple.

Hailee, 29, probably expected her role in Sinners to bring her to the 83rd annual awards show, which Nikki Glaser hosted for the second time. The Oscar nominee had previously shared that she felt the vampire horror film would be something special from the moment she read the script by director Ryan Coogler.

Hailee described the feeling as rare and special, telling Who What Wear in February 2025 that it was both a privilege and a blessing. She explained that once you experience it, you constantly long to feel it again.
