Hailey Bieber is taking the high rhode in this conversation.
Now that Rhode Beauty is available in Sephora stores next to Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty line, the founder explained why she doesn’t try to influence customers to choose one brand over the other.
Hailey recently told *WSJ. Magazine* that she finds it frustrating to be compared to others. ‘I never asked for that,’ she said. ‘When people have already decided what to think of you and created a narrative, it’s not my job to change their minds.’
Honestly, I can’t believe she’s just focusing on her beauty line, Rhode, doing well in stores! It’s…it’s like she doesn’t even *notice* she’s married to Justin, you know? *The* Justin! Selena’s Justin! It’s just…wow. She’s really prioritizing Rhode, and I guess that’s good for her, but still…
She stressed that she believes everyone can find their place, explaining that her biggest competition comes from within herself. She doesn’t see others as rivals unless she truly admires their work.
The model, who shares a 13-month-old son named Jack Blues Bieber with Justin, 31, shared that Justin is one of her strongest supporters. She explained that she thoroughly tests her products, saying, “I test them on my husband and my friends – I’m really passionate about them.”

She explained that she always hoped people would love her products for what they were, even if they didn’t know who made them or weren’t influenced by her personal brand.
