Halo PS5 Collector’s Edition Instantly Sells Out, and for Good Reason

The Halo: Campaign Evolved Collector’s Edition for PS5 sold out in under 24 hours after pre-orders opened, demonstrating its high demand.

The physical Collector’s Edition has only been available through the Xbox Game Studios Shop, and it’s currently sold out in both the US and Europe. You can sign up for restock notifications, but there’s no promise it will be available again.

The Collector’s Edition, priced at £189.99 or $199.99, included a 12-inch Master Chief statue, the game on disc and as a digital download, a light-up Cortana chip, and five days of early access to the game, along with other extras.

Unfortunately, the quick sell-out has led to a surge of pre-orders being resold on eBay, with some listings reaching prices as high as £516.

With fewer and fewer Collector’s Editions being released these days, this one seems like a really good value for the price. A high-quality statue of such a recognizable character is something you could proudly display for years, and it’s great to see the publisher offering both a physical copy of the game and a digital download all together.

Halo: Combat Evolved is being rebuilt for modern consoles, featuring the original campaign and three brand-new missions. We got a sneak peek at the game during yesterday’s Xbox showcase, and it’s looking great so far. It’s scheduled to release on July 28, 2026.
