Halseyis ready to rock, but maybe not as hard.
While in Boston for her Back to Badlands tour, singer Halsey shared that she was briefly hospitalized after her concert on November 2nd.
Halsey shared on Instagram that she spent several hours in the emergency room after her Boston show on November 3rd. She posted a photo of herself in a headwrap and explained, “After the show last night I was in the ER till 6 this morning.”
Halsey, 31 (born Ashley Frangipane), briefly mentioned a recent health scare that sent her to the hospital, but assured fans she’s feeling much better now and is ready to perform tonight. She explained that if she seems to be taking it easy, it’s because of the recent medical issue.
She expressed immense gratitude to Massachusetts General Hospital and her medical team, calling them “the absolute best I’ve ever met.” She also shared her enthusiastic mindset before the second night of her performance at MGM Music Hall at Fenway, exclaiming, “Let’s rock tonight!”
Halsey, who is engaged to Avan Jogia, has openly shared her experiences with health issues. Just five weeks before being hospitalized, she provided an update about her diagnoses of lupus and T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder – a group of conditions where the body makes too many white blood cells – which she first discussed last year.
In a TikTok video posted on September 25th, she shared that she recently completed more chemotherapy sessions and had a new port inserted.
Halsey, who has a four-year-old son named Ender with her ex, Alev Aydin, showed her chest where a port was inserted for chemotherapy. This port is used to deliver the medicine that targets the abnormal cells related to her T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder.
In addition to sharing news about her health, Halsey—whose recent album The Great Impersonator reflects her difficult experiences—fully embraced the Halloween spirit with her son, Avan.

The singer, known for “Now or Never,” and an actress from Victorious shared a provocative Halloween photo. It showed them nude in bed, covered in fake blood and wrapped in dirty white sheets.
In the caption, Halsey quipped, “Big night out.”
