The big news is the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone Collector’s Edition Set (76466) – it’s available for pre-order right now at the LEGO Shop for $169.99 and will be released on January 1st. It looks like it might be a slightly wild ride, just like the Weasleys’ flying car!
The Sorcerer’s Stone LEGO set has 1,571 pieces and recreates memorable scenes from the first Harry Potter movie. It features Hedwig perched on books and Harry’s suitcase, complete with his initials, and includes miniature figures of Harry, Ron, and Hermione reliving the dangerous chess game from their first adventure. This Collector’s Edition set is the highlight of the initial LEGO releases, but there are other great sets available too. The LEGO Hogwarts Castle: Sorting Hat Ceremony (76460) set, with 124 pieces and a price of $14.99, will be available at the LEGO Store starting January 1st. This set, inspired by Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, recreates the iconic scene where Harry, Ron, and Hermione are sorted into their Hogwarts houses. It includes a spinning Sorting Hat, counters for house points, and mini-figures of Professor McGonagall, Harry, Ron, and Hermione. It also includes a mini-figure of Professor McGonagall’s Patronus, which takes the form of a cat.


The Cornish Pixie (LEGO set #76461) has 320 pieces and costs $29.99. It will be available at the LEGO Store starting January 1st. This set features the mischievous pixie from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and offers a fun, moderately challenging build for fans of Hogwarts and LEGO.


The LEGO Hogwarts Castle: Hospital Wing (set number 76463) contains 907 pieces and costs $99.99. It will be available January 1st at the LEGO Store. This set recreates the Hospital Wing from the Harry Potter movies – the place where Harry and Hermione recovered – and includes both the exterior and interior of the wing. It also comes with several mini-figures, allowing you to recreate scenes directly from the films.
