Anne Twist quietly showed her support for Zoë Kravitz by liking a video posted by British Vogue on Instagram. The video featured Zoë at the Saint Laurent fashion show in Paris on March 3rd.

Zoë, who began dating Harry after calling off her engagement to Channing Tatum in 2024, attended the event wearing a fitted brown turtleneck with see-through sleeves. She completed the look with high-waisted chocolate-colored trousers and a fur coat.

Although Harry Styles has been linked to both Olivia Wilde and Taylor Russell in the past, he hasn’t publicly commented on his relationship with the actress. However, he recently shared that he’s prioritizing his personal life more these days.

In a recent interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music, the former One Direction member shared his desire for a meaningful life filled with strong connections. He expressed wanting fulfilling relationships, close friendships, and a family, and realized he needed to actively work towards creating the space in his life for those things to happen, rather than simply hoping they would.

He also emphasized the importance of finding a supportive partner who can help him achieve his ambitions.

Harry explained that we’re often drawn to people who challenge us to become our best selves – they help us live up to the person we aspire to be.

Harry appreciates kindness and acceptance, but ultimately he wants to feel driven to improve himself.

I’ve been a fan of Harry Styles for years, and I always loved learning about his background. He was born on February 1st, 1994, in Evesham, Worcestershire, to his parents, Anne Cox and Desmond Styles. He also has an older sister, Gemma, who was born in 1990 – she seems lovely too!

The family settled in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, when he was very young, and his mother, Anne, recalls his first word being “cat.”

Styles described his hometown, a village of around 5,000 people, as both “quite boring” and “picturesque.”

In his memoir, Dare to Dream, Harry remembered being unusually upset—he rarely cried—when his parents told him and his sister, Gemma, that they were getting divorced. He was seven years old at the time.

He admitted he hadn’t fully understood the situation at the time, but he was simply upset about his parents’ separation.

Des and Anne remained together for two more years. Then, Des moved out and Anne relocated with Harry and Gemma to Northwich, a rural area in Cheshire. Later, when Harry was a teenager, the family returned to live in Holmes Chapel.

Anne and Robin Twist got married in 2013 after being a couple for more than ten years. Her son, Harry, proudly walked her down the aisle and served as best man at the wedding.

Harry started playing music in a band around age fourteen. He originally wanted to play bass guitar, but since another member already filled that role, he became the singer instead. The band, called White Eskimo, won their school’s Battle of the Bands, earning a £100 prize and their first paid performance – playing at a wedding.

Anne told Now magazine in 2010 that her son has always been confident and enjoyed making people laugh. She believed from a young age that he was destined to perform.

Harry earned a little extra scratch—£6 an hour—working at W. Mandeville bakery on Saturdays. 

According to his former boss, Simon Wakefield, he was the politest employee they ever had. Wakefield told the Mirror in 2013, when Styles came back to film scenes for the movie One Direction: This Is Us, that customers particularly liked him.

Mr. Wakefield explained that the shop became popular with young girls when Harry worked there. He recalled times when as many as twelve girls would come in at once, and even now, groups of around twenty often visit and take pictures. Harry was a dedicated employee, responsible for everything from serving customers and cleaning the back room to scrubbing floors, washing trays, and wiping down the counter.

Anne was the one who ended up sending Harry’s X Factor application in when he got cold feet.

When auditioning for The X Factor in spring 2010, the 16-year-old confidently stated, ‘People – usually my mum – tell me I’m a good singer.’ He performed Stevie Wonder’s ‘Isn’t She Lovely’ without any musical accompaniment. He also explained that if the judges, who could help him pursue a singing career, didn’t believe in him, it would be a significant obstacle to his dreams.

Harry didn’t advance to the final or even the second-to-last round for the boys, but the show’s producers decided to keep him involved.

Oh my gosh, it was destiny! Simon and Nicole – Nicole was filling in for Cheryl at the time, can you believe it? – they saw something special in Harry and decided to put him with Liam, Niall, Zayn, and Louis. It was Harry, however, who came up with the group’s name.

He remembered thinking the name sounded good when they were brainstorming. They tossed around a few ideas, and he honestly wasn’t sure where it came from. He suggested it, everyone agreed, and it just ended up sticking.

Zayn explained on Phoenix’s Hot 97.5 FM in 2012 that the band initially brainstormed a ton of potential names. Harry suggested the name they ultimately chose – he simply texted it to the group, and they all agreed it worked. Apparently, Liam came up with some pretty terrible suggestions too. In October 2010, One Direction hit the X Factor stage live for the first time.

At first, it was so bad he even got sick before a show! Eventually, he found a routine that helped – things like sipping sparkling water and practicing deep breathing exercises to calm his nerves. Despite their later success, One Direction didn’t win The X Factor in 2010. They finished in third place, after Matt Cardle won and Rebecca Ferguson came in second.

You know, when I think back to my school days, I was always a pretty inclusive kid. As I recall, I genuinely enjoyed the company of both girls and boys. It wasn’t like some of my classmates who couldn’t stand girls – I never thought that way! I really just tried to be friends with everyone, and I think that’s a great way to grow up. That’s something biographer Louisa Jepson has highlighted when we spoke about my early years.

Harry, of the band White Eskimo, always had a way with girls, according to his bandmate Will Sweeny. Sweeny told the Daily Star that Harry had girlfriends as early as Year Four, when he was around ten years old, and it was something people noticed even in primary school. He apparently had a natural charm that attracted them throughout his life.

Louis Tomlinson jokingly complained to The Sun that the biggest issue with living with Harry was the endless parade of women coming and going. He said it was “relentless.” Of course, Louis was dating Eleanor Calder at the time, so he was likely teasing Harry a little.

He admitted he’d love to kiss her, naming both Frankie and Caroline Flack as his favorites. Later, on The X Factor website, he sent a message hoping Caroline Flack would see it, calling her gorgeous and saying ‘hi’.

Harry and Caroline first met in October 2011 at an after-party for a show at London’s W Hotel, and they left together. However, according to Alice Montgomery, nothing significant happened between them that evening.

In her 2015 memoir, Storm in a C Cup, Caroline Flack described how she and the other person connected easily because they were both single and enjoyed each other’s company. She explained that things only became difficult once their relationship became public. Initially, it was lighthearted, and he had even playfully mentioned being attracted to older women.

Despite claims that she and Harry Styles were just friends, fans of the band One Direction strongly expressed their possessiveness over him. I remember back in 2012, right after Taylor and Harry met at the Kids’ Choice Awards, Justin Bieber let slip something amazing! Growing up, my mom, Anne, loved listening to Shania Twain, Norah Jones, and Savage Garden, especially during the 1990s. Meanwhile, my dad, Des, was teaching me all about rock and roll at home.

While pursuing his music career, Harry also began acting, appearing in Christopher Nolan’s epic World War II film, Dunkirk, released in July 2017. The film was a critical success, receiving eight Academy Award nominations and winning three.

When asked if it was more intimidating to audition for Christopher Nolan or Simon Cowell, Harry Styles told ITV’s This Morning that it was likely Nolan. He explained that Nolan is very quiet – he doesn’t say anything at all during auditions, just sits in the back of the room. Styles described it as incredibly intense, saying you leave and spend ages worrying about whether or not he approved.

One particularly intense scene involved Harry Styles’ character, Alex, nearly drowning. Styles admitted to being intimidated by Meredith and avoiding bringing dates home. However, Winston recalled that Styles wasn’t always alone, and it was fun to see the famous people who would stay in the attic or hang out with them. They never talked shop, and Styles would act like his recent performances for crowds of 80,000 in Rio de Janeiro hadn’t even happened.

In 2017, while performing as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live with host Jimmy Fallon, Harry Styles playfully impersonated Mick Jagger. Later, in July 2018, he appeared on The Tonight Show and jokingly told Jimmy Fallon he’d like to host the show someday.
