In a recent social media post, Medrano gave fans a sneak peek at what they can expect and even teased an “unforeseen” future as the series prepares for seasons three and four on the streaming platform.

Medrano posted an exciting update on her Bluesky account about upcoming developments in Hellaverse, particularly in Hazbin Hotel season 3. She hinted that even dedicated fans might struggle to guess what’s coming next since she herself isn’t sure how the storyline will unfold. Voice actors for the animated series have already completed recording, suggesting that we may not have long to wait before the season 2 finale is followed by the return of Charlie in season 3.

The Hazbin Hotel Will Open Its Doors Again

This past summer at San Diego Comic-Con, Medrano previewed the second season of the Hellaverse, hinting at its highly anticipated return. Regarding Hazbin Hotel season two, Medrano expressed great enthusiasm, stating, “There are several aspects that I’m particularly looking forward to sharing with viewers. First and foremost, the overall quality of the show has significantly improved across all facets. The writing is stronger, the pacing is improved, and we had more time to allow the story to develop naturally. The season two narrative flows more smoothly within the given time frame, and I believe it’s easier for audiences to follow. Additionally, the animation has evolved – we had a more experienced team this time around, and everyone involved really poured their heart into it, producing exceptional work. From a visual standpoint, it’s simply bigger and better, and I couldn’t be more excited and proud of season two. In my opinion, it surpasses season one, which I still hold in high regard.

Previously, Charlie and her companions managed to fend off heavenly forces, ensuring their survival while eliminating the wicked Adam. In a surprising turn of events, Sir Pentious found redemption and entered through the pearly gates. What might have been the most unexpected event was the appearance of Charlie’s mother, Lilith, in the group. As there are many more souls to save in the underworld, it seems that The Hazbin Hotel will continue to be bustling when it resumes on October 29th this autumn.
