The first day of the second summer month will see a significant upgrade to HBO Max, which includes adding a variety of movies and TV shows, as well as removing some existing content from the platform. So, if you’re a Mortal Kombat fan without an active subscription to HBO Max, it might be worth reconsidering for July 2025.

Before the theater release of Mortal Kombat II, the follow-up to the 2021 Mortal Kombat, new content is being introduced. As of now, the much-awaited sequel is scheduled for premiere on October 24, 2025 in cinemas. At this time, there’s no news about its arrival on HBO Max.
