Get ready, fans! The entire Twilight Saga is now available for streaming, but only on one platform. All five movies in the popular vampire romance series, which was a huge hit in the 2010s, have moved between streaming services frequently. In fact, until recently – January of this year – they weren’t available for streaming anywhere.
Okay, so if you’re still Team Edward or Team Jacob – or just a curious viewer – you can currently stream all five Twilight films. That’s right, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn – Part 1, and Breaking Dawn – Part 2 are all available on HBO Max. This whole saga, starring Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner, kicked off back in 2008 and became a huge phenomenon, raking in over $3 million at the box office before concluding in 2012. While Prime Video has them too, HBO Max is currently the only place to find the complete collection.
The Battle Between Team Edward vs. Team Jacob Is About To Reignite
The Twilight series completely captured the public’s imagination in the late 2000s and early 2010s. Combining fantasy, romance, and the struggles of being a teenager, it became a huge cultural moment that greatly influenced young adult fiction and continues to be popular. The central love story between a human and a vampire, plus the complicated relationship between Bella, Edward, and Jacob, created a lot of drama and made the movies incredibly fun to watch. While critics were often divided (the films have generally low scores from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, but audiences enjoyed them), the series’ distinctive dark style and willingness to embrace its over-the-top qualities helped it become a beloved classic.
Fans are getting a second chance to relive the Twilight phenomenon just as excitement is building again. With the 20th anniversary of the first book’s release in 2005 and the films now available on HBO Max, the timing couldn’t be better. As Twihards revisit the original story, a new animated series is in the works for Netflix. This series will adapt Midnight Sun, Stephenie Meyer’s companion novel that retells the story from Edward Cullen’s perspective, offering a deeper look into his thoughts and the Cullen family. While details like casting and a release date haven’t been revealed yet, the series promises to take fans back to the very beginning of Bella and Edward’s love story.
