While HBO Max has lost many classic Cartoon Network shows recently, it still has some great content, and now includes new episodes of a fan favorite. Over the past few weeks, the streaming service has been adding both new TV episodes and movies, including fresh installments of shows like IT: Welcome to Derry and the holiday classic Elf. Just this November, a hugely popular Cartoon Network series returned with brand new episodes.
That show is Teen Titans Go!, a Cartoon Network animated series following the funny adventures of the DC superheroes Robin, Starfire, Cyborg, Raven, and Beast Boy. It started as a spin-off from the original Teen Titans series and first aired in 2013. Just recently, on November 21st, four new episodes from Season 9 became available on HBO Max.
Teen Titans Go! Is One of DC’s Most Successful Animated

DC Comics has a rich history of animated shows, including classics like Batman Beyond and Superman: The Animated Series, as well as newer series like Creature Commandos. However, Teen Titans Go! stands out as one of the most popular and longest-running DC animated shows, currently with over 400 episodes across nine seasons and a devoted fanbase. It’s important to note that this version of Teen Titans is quite different from the one many longtime fans remember.
Teen Titans Go! is a big departure from the original Teen Titans series. It’s much more silly and comedic, moving away from the original’s serious storylines. The animation is also simpler and more cartoonish. While both shows feature the same characters and voice actors, Teen Titans Go! exaggerates their personalities and focuses on the everyday, often boring, things that happen at their headquarters, Titan Tower.
While some longtime fans haven’t embraced the changes, Teen Titans Go! has proven popular with its younger audience. The show has gone far beyond just creating hundreds of episodes – it even became a movie with Teen Titans Go! To the Movies in 2018.
Will There Be a Teen Titans Go! Season 10?
Great news for fans: Cartoon Network has renewed Teen Titans Go! for a tenth season, making it the longest-running animated series based on DC comics. However, there’s some sad news too. Greg Cipes, who has voiced Beast Boy for many years, recently shared that he was let go from the show after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Warner Bros. hasn’t commented on this, and it’s currently unknown how the show will handle Cipes’ departure. A premiere date for Season 10 of Teen Titans Go! hasn’t been announced yet.
