It’s becoming increasingly challenging to locate familiar cartoon favorites that initially aired on Cartoon Network within HBO Max’s selection of original series. For instance, “Courage The Cowardly Dog” and “What’s New, Scooby Doo” have recently been removed, leaving significant gaps in the supernatural genre on HBO Max. As of now, just eleven Cartoon Network originals are still available on the streaming platform, and we’re excited to share details about them with our readers. However, it’s unclear whether these shows will stay on HBO Max for the long term.
On HBO Max, you’ll find a collection of animated series originally aired on Cartoon Network, such as:
1. Adventure Time
2. Rick and Morty
3. Regular Show
4. Steven Universe
5. The Boondocks
6. Samurai Jack
7. Teen Titans Go!
8. Young Justice
9. Ben 10
10. Powerpuff Girls (2016)
And so on…
- Adventure Time
- Craig Before The Creek
- Craig of The Creek
- Lamput
- LU & The Bally Bunch (Mini-Series)
- LU & The Bally Bunch (Full Series)
- Total Drama Island
- Total Dramarama
- Total Dramarama: A Very Special Special That’s Quite Special
- Villainous
- We Baby Bears: Atlantis Bound
Although several Cartoon Network shows from the past and present have moved to different streaming platforms, quite a few have vanished from subscription services. Thankfully, Warner Bros has produced physical collections of numerous series to own, like the complete series DVD for _Courage The Cowardly Dog_, for instance. Some complete series can also be bought digitally. However, it remains uncertain if all the remaining animated properties will continue to be available on HBO Max in the future.
Are Adventure Time’s Days Numbered?
Adventure Time, one of HBO Max’s most prominent shows, features all seasons of the series featuring Finn the Human and Jake the Dog. Though HBO Max is working on another season of the spin-off “Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake“, it seems that the original series may not be far from its end. Historically, certain shows have been removed from Warner Bros’ streaming service after a specific period, and it appears that the time for this beloved Cartoon Network property is drawing near.
The end date for streaming “Adventure Time” on HBO Max is approaching in October, potentially leaving fans with only a few weeks left to watch it. Fortunately, you can still stream “Adventure Time” on Hulu, along with other series such as “The Amazing World of Gumball”, “Teen Titans Go!”, “Regular Show”, “Chowder”, “The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack”, “Steven Universe”, and “We Bare Bears”. Here’s hoping that all the beloved Cartoon Network shows find a new home on a streaming platform, as it can be challenging to keep track of where to watch some of the popular animated series.
