Blink and you’ll miss Rocky Barker‘s first baby words on The Kardashians.

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s son, who is 23 months old, appeared on the season seven premiere of their Hulu reality show on October 23rd.

Before the sale of Kris Jenner’s famous Hidden Hills home—a location well-known from filming Keeping Up With the Kardashians—the family had a final dinner there. While everyone was together, Rocky happily babbled and pointed at the ceiling in the house’s grand, two-story entrance hall.

Kourtney explained that her mom’s house at Eldorado Meadow was always a gathering place. “So much happened there,” she said. “It was like the family’s home base, and there was always someone around if you visited.”

The Kardashian-Jenner family gathered at their home for a final meal together. Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and Rob Kardashian were all present. During the evening, Rocky was seen playing with his aunt, Khloe, while Kourtney, 46, and Kris, 69, chatted in the kitchen.

Kourtney and Travis included their son’s voice in the episode, but they blurred his face to protect his privacy.

The Blink-182 drummer told the Wall Street Journal in 2024 that he prefers to keep his children out of the public eye. He said he would have made the same choice regarding his kids – Atiana De La Hoya, 26, Landon Barker, 22, and Alabama Barker, 19 – if he could go back in time, and that applies to all of his children with ex-wife Shanna Moakler.

Travis explained that it feels strange when you’re a teenager – like around 12 or 15 – and your mom shares old photos of you online.

Kourtney has been sharing fewer photos of her three children – 15-year-old Mason, 13-year-old Penelope, and 10-year-old Reign – whom she shares with her ex, Scott Disick.

The founder of Lemme shared on a 2022 podcast called Not Skinny But Not Fat that she doesn’t particularly enjoy posting pictures of her children on social media, and that her kids aren’t always thrilled about it either, though they occasionally don’t mind.

Kourtney observed that Mason wants to stay out of the spotlight, and she really wants her kids to have a normal childhood, as much as possible given their circumstances.

Kourtney wished Travis Barker a Happy Father’s Day on Instagram, posting sweet, previously unseen photos of him with their son. She expressed her gratitude for the wonderful father he is to their baby and all of her children.

The reality star shared heartfelt thanks, saying, “You always keep us safe and looked after, and being a family with you feels wonderful. I’m so happy to celebrate you!”
