The actors Joe Locke and Kit Connor have completed filming for the upcoming long-form conclusion of Netflix’s popular LGBTQ+ series “Heartstopper,” as hinted by a recent news article that appears to have unveiled its title.

According to reliable sources, it appears that the title of the movie is “Heartstopper: Forever.” This assumption is supported by evidence such as a picture of what seems to be a film set’s clapperboard.

Interestingly, this aligns well with a social media update from colleague Locke, where he posted a backstage photo on Instagram Stories during the weekend. The accompanying caption read “wrapped… for good” [emphasis added].

Additionally, Locke uploaded the picture on his primary account, featuring him and his fellow actor, Connor, walking down a grand stairway leading to a charming boardwalk by the seashore, accompanied by a lineup of quaint beach cabanas.

As a devoted cinephile, I can’t help but marvel at the stunning beach landscapes that graced our screens earlier in the series, shot at Herne Bay, Kent and Lyme Regis, Dorset. Yet, in the latest installment, I find myself puzzled as to where exactly the dynamic duo have found themselves this time around – the photographs don’t seem to provide a definitive answer.

The word ‘forever’ is also dropped into the film’s previously released synopsis.

Nick and Charlie have always been inseparable, yet as Nick prepares to embark on his college journey and Charlie gains more autonomy at school, the prospect of a long-distance relationship starts to feel heavy for both of them.

Uncertainties arise, putting a significant test to their bond; at the same time, they, along with their companions, experience the rollercoaster ride of affection and camaraderie. As a passionate movie enthusiast, I can’t help but speculate about the upcoming Heartstopper film! Although Netflix hasn’t officially revealed the full cast list yet, the hint of “friends” in the description has me believing that Locke (who I presume is the main character) and Connor will be joined by familiar faces like Yasmin Finney, William Gao, Corinna Brown, and Kizzy Edgell. These series regulars will no doubt add depth and richness to the storyline, making it an even more compelling watch!
