Heated Rivalry star Connor Storrie joins Sex Education favourites in all-new school reunion comedy

Connor Storrie, who gained popularity for his performance in the HBO Max series Heated Rivalry, is said to be taking on a new, significant acting role.

Sources say the actor is considering appearing in “Peaked,” a funny movie about a high school reunion. The film is already attracting well-known stars like Emma Mackey from “Sex Education” and Simone Ashley.

This comedy series, created by Molly Gordon (known from ‘The Bear’) and Allie Levitan (‘Our Cartoon President’), centers around two women who peaked in high school and are now trying to recapture that feeling at their 10-year class reunion.

Details of Storrie’s role are currently being kept under wraps.

I’m really excited to see Levon Hawke, who I loved in ‘The Crowded Room’, join the cast! And Laura Dern is always amazing – I really enjoyed her work in ‘Is This Thing On?’! I’m also a fan of Mitra Jouhari from ‘The Big Sick’, and it’s cool to see Gabby Windey from ‘The Traitors’ taking on this new role. The whole cast seems fantastic!

Gordon will direct the film, and David Hinojosa and Zach Nutman from 2AM will produce it with Gordon and A24. Levitan will serve as executive producer.

Storrie and Hudson Williams lead the cast of ‘Heated Rivalry,’ a new series based on the second book in Rachel Reid’s popular ‘Game Changers’ romance novels.

The series follows Shane Hollander, a Canadian hockey star, and Ilya Rozanov, a Russian player, who are rivals both on and off the ice. They begin a secret relationship that blossoms into a years-long love affair, but both men worry that revealing their feelings for each other could jeopardize their careers.

I’ve been completely hooked by this show! It first popped up on HBO Max here in the States last November, then on Sky in the UK in January, and it’s just blown up globally since then. What everyone’s loving about it – and I totally agree – is how genuinely it portrays LGBTQ+ athletes. It’s also incredibly sex-positive, which is refreshing, and honestly, it’s amazing to see a happy ending for LGBTQ+ characters – something we don’t get nearly enough of on screen.
