Hudson Williams doesn’t want fans to get too heated over his personal life.
Since publicly confirming his relationship on Valentine’s Day, the star of Heated Rivalry is responding to the outpouring of support he and his girlfriend received from fans online.
Hudson revealed on the Oscars red carpet that he doesn’t pay attention to his direct messages. He was discussing finally confirming his relationship and said he imagines his DMs are full of the same old comments. He was touched to see fans accepting his partner so easily, especially since she prefers to stay out of the spotlight and doesn’t like being the center of attention. He jokingly added that she always says, ‘I don’t want to be perceived!’
Despite the recent attention on her boyfriend, who has become very successful, his girlfriend prefers to keep her life private. However, they’ve both been pleased with the positive response from fans.
According to what I’ve heard, they’re still feeling very positive and friendly, which is great to see,” Hudson said.
Hudson is happy to talk more about his personal life now, but he still can’t reveal any details about what will happen in the next season of the popular, passionate TV show.
Before the Oscars at The Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood, actor Zuri Hall, while appearing on Live from TopMob: Oscars 2026, shared that he and his co-star, Connie Storrie, are trusting the show’s creator, Jacob Tierney, to determine the future of their characters, Ilya and Shane’s, relationship.
Hudson said he put his faith in Jacob Tierney, essentially giving him full control and then pushing himself to work as hard as he could.

Honestly, it’s been amazing watching our guy absolutely blown away by everyone he’s met during awards season! He’s especially touched by all the other celebrities who’ve told him how much they love Heated Rivalry. It really means the world to him, and it’s so heartwarming to see!
He told TopMob that he appreciated everyone involved and didn’t want to single anyone out, as there were simply too many to name. He admitted it felt good to acknowledge the group effort, and he was proud of all of them.
The Oscars air live Sunday, March 15, at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on ABC and Hulu.
