Currently, Heather Rae El Moussa, a former star on Selling Sunset, is dishing out details about how she managed to achieve her slender post-pregnancy physique.
In an Instagram post, the popular HGTV personality displayed her well-sculpted abs; however, she made it clear to her followers that she doesn’t always appear in such a shape.
Heather, wearing a tan sports bra and pink sweatpants rolled down at the waist, displayed her toned physique while her son Tristan, shared with her husband Tarek El Moussa, played nearby surrounded by his toys.
To the rhythm of the well-known “I’m a mummy” quote from Love Island, Heather, aged 37, moved her hips in a gentle swaying motion.
In the caption, Heather shared insights on how motherhood shifted her focus from dieting and exercising excessively.
She mentioned, “Ladies, I often don’t appear as I do right now. Some days I feel bloated and heavy, as if I’m carrying excess weight… Other days I feel lean and fit. My mental and physical states can vary greatly,” she shared.
Previously, I was deeply engrossed in a workout routine, focusing predominantly on cardio exercises, with absolutely no carbs in my diet. However, the arrival of Tristan significantly altered my perspective, causing a shift in my approach to health and fitness.
‘As a mom my priorities are different.
Currently, I exercise whenever possible, which is typically 3-4 days a week. I pay close attention to my body’s needs. If I’m not feeling completely well, I opt for rest and focus on healing. I’ve been dealing with thyroid issues, and I’m still working through them. To manage this condition, I’ve incorporated the right supplements into my routine, and I’ve established a wind-down routine at night to help my body relax, ensuring I wake up refreshed in the morning, ready to face another day, though it can be challenging.
‘My point is, I listen to MY body I do what makes ME feel good. Remember a new day is a new start!’
She put together a collection of supplements, exercises, and various items that have contributed to her sense of well-being. This list features magnesium water, Paulina Hefferan’s detox capsules (a popular trainer), weightlifting routines, and strategies for ensuring restful sleep.
In early January 2023, Heather and Tarek became parents for the first time, welcoming their son, Tristan, into their lives. This joyous event took place less than two years after they exchanged vows at the Rosewood Miramar Beach hotel in Montecito.
Apart from young Tristan, Tarek additionally has a 14-year-old daughter named Taylor and a nine-year-old son called Brayden with his first spouse, Christina Haack. They share these three children together.
Christina and Tarek gained popularity simultaneously as they co-hosted the HGTV home renovation show Flip Or Flop. Despite their separation, they still shared hosting duties on the show afterwards.
In the passage of time since our parting ways, my former partner and I have cultivated a friendly relationship once more. Recently, we’ve teamed up on an exciting venture – starring together in the HGTV competition series “The Flip Off,” alongside the talented Heather. This new chapter in our lives is all about collaboration, camaraderie, and creating stunning homes – one flip at a time!
As a die-hard fan, I’ve been keeping up, and let me tell you, it’s been a rollercoaster ride lately! Personally, everything has been smooth sailing, but professionally, Tarek’s found himself in a tangled web due to an altercation with another gentleman in the heart of Las Vegas – the city that never sleeps.
This month, Tarek was taken into custody in Las Vegas after a dispute occurred at The Palazzo, which is part of the Venetian hotel.
Reports suggest that the situation started after a man was said to have collided with El Moussa’s father and made an unwelcome remark, which reportedly led to El Moussa physically attacking him.
The Real Estate Elevated co-founder could face charges in connection with the incident.
