Helen Flanagan rants about loss of her driving license after being banned for speeding before revealing she and ex Scott Sinclair are back ‘co-parenting in the same house’ despite bitter split

On a heated social media post yesterday, Helen Flanagan expressed frustration over her revoked driver’s license and various parenting challenges, which have been ongoing since she was disqualified due to excessive speeding five months ago.

34-year-old former Corrie actress, who earlier this year testified that her ex-footballer boyfriend Robbie Talbot was driving their £66,000 Audi Q7 when it was caught speeding twice, expressed frustration about not having a car as it has been quite inconvenient. She mentioned she’s had trouble running errands or shopping for necessities due to her remote living situation.

Despite asserting that she faced financial difficulties and couldn’t bear the cost of taxis to transport her kids to school, Helen was still prohibited from using the road for a period of six months.

Through a post on her Instagram Stories, she clarified that due to her ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), she accidentally combined documents when applying for her license renewal. As a result, this additional mix-up will prolong the application process further.

I really struggle to express how much of an inconvenience it is for me not to have my driver’s license since I reside in a remote area, and as you might imagine, I haven’t had the opportunity to drive.

Recently, it’s been incredibly inconvenient. For instance, we’ve run out of toilet paper at home, and I can’t quickly run to the store to pick some up. So, my friend has to bring me some instead.

Additionally, she disclosed that she and former partner Scott Sinclair are now cohabiting again under one roof, caring for their children Matlida, aged nine, Delilah, age six, and Charlie, who is three, following their difficult separation.

Helen, who is now selling her previous £1.5 million family home, separated from the footballer, age 36, in 2022 following 13 years together. Earlier this month, she made a sharp criticism of him prior to Father’s Day.

Matilda and Delilah share a birthday date. They were born exactly one week apart, which makes organizing celebrations quite challenging, as it gets rather chaotic.

While Scott is away playing football, we’re currently sharing the same home as part of our co-parenting duties, something we don’t typically do.

In court, Helen explained that due to her secluded moorland residence, it takes only 10 minutes by car to reach the nearest store for essentials like bread and milk. She admitted finding it challenging to manage daily life without a vehicle in such a remote area.

The actress residing in the vicinity of Bolton, within Greater Manchester, disclosed she made approximately £70,000 during the past year; however, she mentioned her earnings fluctuate, and admitted that she found it financially challenging to cover a £10 taxi fare for transporting her son to nursery.

Prosecutor Stephen Kirk explained that Helen, who previously had six points on her license for speeding, did not reveal the driver when her car was caught speeding at various spots in Merseyside last June. Specifically, the car was going 42mph in a 30mph zone and 51mph in a 40mph zone.

This past week, she turned heads in alluring black lingerie and later aimed a comment at Scott.

Helen wore an elaborate lace ensemble that highlighted her surgically augmented figure, featuring a bra offering minimal coverage, accompanied by coordinating undergarments such as panties, stockings, and suspenders.

On her Instagram Stories, Helen posted a humorous meme featuring the phrase: “What gift are you buying for my child’s father on Father’s Day?” accompanied by a video clip of Whitney Houston emphatically singing “nothing” from the 1992 film The Bodyguard.

In regards to her past relationship with Scott, Helen shared that she was the one who ended things between them.

She mentioned that they had a pattern of secretly splitting up and reconciling, only for this cycle to continue. Eventually, she decided to end things permanently.

Helen shared with The Sun, “Ultimately, I was the one who chose to part ways. I’ll forever carry a sense of sorrow that things didn’t work out between us, yet we continue to hold affection towards one another. However, we are both finding happiness in our separate lives now.

On the Naughty Corner podcast with Charlotte Dawson, Helen shared that she continues to have deep feelings for him, but their personalities just don’t mesh well together.

It appears we have our differences and struggle to connect. However, I am certain that beneath his tough exterior, Scott harbors feelings for me, feelings that run as deep as affection and love.

However, I’ve had enough, I can’t imagine entering another relationship with constant disagreements. I simply don’t have the energy for more arguments.

In my case, as a woman, I’ve always strived to maintain and nurture relationships with the fathers of my children. However, if I were to be in another relationship, it would need to be effortless for me because I simply don’t have the emotional energy left; I’ve already invested so much with the father of my kids.

Helen added that co-parenting is amusing since they make efforts to keep away from one another to prevent disagreements in front of their children.

She went on to say: “For the past two years, I’ve been a solo parent. Sharing parenting responsibilities with my ex can be quite amusing, considering we spent 13 years as a couple.

The last occasion we met, I found it amusing; I teased him a bit since he wore a bucket hat. It seemed like he was trying hard not to chuckle himself.

We reside in different cities – him in Bath, and me in North Manchester – which is approximately a 5-hour drive apart. We arrange to meet in Birmingham for the purpose of exchanging items as well as spending time with our children.

He’s putting items into my shoe, and to break the tension, I started mocking his bucket hat playfully.

Instead of sharing the same home, we’re making an effort to avoid it due to our priority being the well-being of the kids. I wish to maintain a harmonious atmosphere for them and avoid any conflicts they might witness.
