Update [Tue 5th Aug 2025, 4:30pm]:
After hints and sneak peeks, it’s officially confirmed that the playable demo of Hell Is Us will be available on various consoles, including PlayStation 5.
The demo will be available to download and play from 12th August 2025.
[This is referring to whatever ‘it’ refers to in the original sentence]
The demo starts as soon as the game begins. You’ll find yourself in the role of Rémi, equipped with the same limited knowledge he possesses, embarking on a journey through Hadea. This initial stage serves as an introduction to both the world of “Hell is Us” and its fundamental game mechanics.
The game doesn’t reveal all its features at the start; instead, you’ll get a taste of what’s to come. It’s only when the game expands and reveals more of its depth that you’ll truly appreciate aspects like exploration and character development.
Are you excited to give Hell Is Us a trial run next week?
In approximately a month, the highly anticipated action-adventure game “Hell Is Us” will be released for PlayStation 5 on September 4th. Interestingly, there’s a possibility that players can preview it earlier than the official launch date.
Game platforms’ social media are hinting at a puzzle with a blank-fill format, and a suitable completion could be “demo on consoles.” It appears we’ll find out more about this later today.
Additionally, if that’s still not clear, the PlayStation Store surveillance service, PlayStation Game Size, has given a more direct hint suggesting that a demo for the game is on its way.
It’s now appropriate to release the playable demo for “Hell Is Us” on consoles, such as the PS5, given that the full game is about to be launched in a few weeks. This was previously only available on PC earlier this year.
The game stands out due to its minimal guidance, fostering self-directed player discovery and exploration rather than providing objective markers. If you’re intrigued by the mechanics of “Hell Is Us”, it appears you’ll soon have an opportunity to try it out yourself.
