If you were looking forward to playing the Vietnam War-themed update for Hell Let Loose later this month, we have some mixed news.
Team 17 has pushed back the release of their game to August 13th, about two months later than initially expected. According to Insider Gaming, this delay is due to feedback from players and internal testing which highlighted areas needing improvement. The publisher apologized and said they’ll share more updates on the game’s progress soon.
If you’re unfamiliar, this game is a sequel to Hell Let Loose, a World War II shooter known for its intense battles. While our review noted a few issues, it was compelling enough to earn a spot on our list of promising shooters coming out this year.
We’re disappointed the game is delayed, but it’s good that the developers are taking the time to ensure a smooth launch. The beta tests were really helpful, because we definitely didn’t want to experience any problems in the final version.
