Pragmata is, as far as we’re concerned, one of the more promising upcoming PS5 games.
The game under prolonged development features an extraordinary mechanism: solving straightforward riddles while engaged in battle enables hacking enemy defenses, making them more vulnerable to your assaults.
Although we praised the gameplay in our recent review, Capcom hasn’t demonstrated it effectively yet.

At the ChinaJoy 2025 exhibition, this stage demonstration provides a clearer image of what’s to come. Essentially, it showcases the same gameplay, illustrating how you can employ your ally, Diane, to strategically stagger your opponents and create opportunities for attack.
It’s clear that the game will offer much more depth once it’s officially released, as even the demo demonstrates the developer gradually incorporating various aspects into the hacking mini-game.
But hopefully this footage gives you a better reference for why we’re so excited about it.
