Okay, so Sony finally showed off that Horizon multiplayer game Guerrilla Games has been secretly building for ages! I’ve been waiting for this for years, and it’s awesome to see it’s actually happening.
I’m really excited about Horizon Hunters Gathering! It’s a co-op game where you team up with two friends to take on missions. Basically, we’ll be working together to fight off these dangerous machines that are causing trouble in the world. Sounds awesome, right?
You play as different heroes in this game, which offers several ways to play, including a single-player story mode. Each playthrough also includes roguelike features, meaning you’ll develop your character as you go, with each run being unique.
People have had very different reactions to the game. A lot of players have expressed disappointment with its unique art style and the way the characters look.
Sony appears to be responding to the negative feedback surrounding the game, and has launched a survey asking players for their opinions.
The survey asks for your thoughts on both the Horizon Hunters Gathering reveal video and the game itself.
Whether you enjoyed the co-op game or not, Sony wants to hear your feedback. They’ll use what players like and dislike to make the game even better.
The game will be available for public testing later this month, giving players their first chance to really get a feel for how it’s progressing.
According to the recent video, Guerrilla Games wants to collaborate with players and get their feedback as the game develops. However, it’s unlikely they’ll significantly change the game’s visual style at this stage, as that seems to be the main concern people have expressed so far.
Anyway, at least you can tell Sony how you feel, one way or the other.
