Although it appears adorable and vibrant, Hide the Corpse might turn out to be the most grimly macabre game launched for the PSVR2, so far.
This game follows its title literally; it involves concealing a deceased individual prior to law enforcement’s arrival. The higher the skill with which you hide the body, the greater the score you’ll accumulate. Quite unusual.
Here’s how the official blurb pitches it:
Prepare for the unconventional and whimsical VR game, ‘Hide The Body’, set to debut on PlayStation! In this game, your mission is to secretly dispose of a corpse within one of six stages, all within a tight four-minute timeframe. Avoid getting caught in the process!

This clearly leverages the capabilities of PSVR2, as it involves intricate manipulation of physical elements. For instance, you can interactively grab items to shield your body, or move a body into a refrigerator or freezer.
It’s just so damn dark as a concept, isn’t it?
Let’s confirm if the game will be released on the 18th of August as stated in the trailer, or the 20th of July as mentioned in the description, to ensure we have the correct release date.
Of course, would you be willing to give this a go? Frankly, we’re quite astonished that something like this has been produced, given its obvious humor and playful nature.
