HIDIVE Confirms Streaming Release for January’s Biggest Anime Return

I’m seeing a lot of exciting anime coming to HIDIVE this month! With the Winter 2026 season bringing so many new shows and returning favorites, they’ve just announced they’ll be streaming one of the biggest comebacks in January. It’s great news for fans – especially since HIDIVE is confirming that a major franchise will definitely be back on their platform. It looks like there’s a ton of new and returning content to look forward to over the next few months.

Oshi no Ko has become one of HIDIVE’s most popular series, and the third season recently began airing. Initially, the new season was announced to be exclusively on Crunchyroll, but HIDIVE has now confirmed they will also stream new episodes as they become available in Japan, alongside Crunchyroll.

Oshi no Ko Season 3 Now Streaming With HIDIVE

Good news for fans of Oshi no Ko: Season 3 is now available to stream on HIDIVE in the United States, Canada, the U.K., Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and other regions. The first episode is already out, and new episodes will be released weekly in Japanese with English subtitles. This adds another popular returning series to HIDIVE’s growing lineup of simultaneously released shows.

HIDIVE’s Winter 2026 season includes returning favorites like Oshi no Ko Season 3 and Chained Soldier Season 2, plus new series such as HELL MODE: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing and Reincarnated as a Dragon Hatchling. Throughout the month, they’ll also be adding classic anime titles like Black Bullet, Princess Principal, The Comic Artist and His Assistants, and Pon no Michi, making for a full month of content for anime fans.

What to Know for Oshi no Ko Season 3

Season 3 of Oshi no Ko brings back the same team and actors as Season 2, kicking off a fresh chapter in the story. According to HIDIVE, six months have passed since the release of “POP IN 2.” The group B-Komachi is finally gaining momentum thanks to MEMcho’s hard work. Aqua is developing his skills as a performer, and Akane is becoming a more accomplished actress. However, Kana has become less cheerful. Ruby is rising in the entertainment world, determined to uncover the truth about Ai and Gorou’s deaths—even if it means resorting to deception.

Now that Aqua has let go of seeking revenge for his mother, Ruby is taking up that quest herself. This shift will create a new dynamic as Ruby becomes the driving force behind uncovering the truth about Ai’s murder and the identity of the doctor she loved in a past life. Expect things to get even more dramatic than before.
