If you’re enjoying High on Life 2, you’re probably curious about the total number of weapons available and how to unlock them all.
In High on Life 2, you’ll use both weapons you already know and meet new characters as you complete the missions.
Okay, so in this new game, they brought back three of my favorite guns from the original, plus one more that was originally DLC. But the best part? They added five completely new weapons to play with! I’m excited to try them all out.
In my review of High on Life 2, I mentioned that the game improves on the original by adding new weapons that work great with the returning ones. This creates exciting combinations and visual effects, not just during fights, but also when solving puzzles – which I think are a surprisingly strong part of the series.
So, let’s crack on and get to the full list!
High on Life 2 guns: The full list
We’ve identified 9 different guns to collect in High on Life 2. Here’s a complete list:
- Gus
- Sweezy
- Creature
- B.A.L.L.
- Sheath
- Travis
- Jan
- Bowie
- Shoot-O
We also want to give a special mention to Knifey, voiced again by Michael Cusack. This notoriously violent character from Australia 2 is back from the beginning, but he’s more of a… well, a knife guy, so he doesn’t really fit in with the discussion about firearms!

How to unlock all guns and weapons in High on Life 2
Want to learn more about these weapons? Keep reading to find out where to get them.
Almost all of these weapons are essential to the story, so you won’t have to worry about finding every single one.
This article contains spoilers, particularly regarding weapons that appear later in the game, so reader discretion is advised!
Gus

Voiced by: JB Smoove
How to unlock: Play the first mission
Gus’s discs are strong in battle, and you can use Knifey to strike them while they’re flying, allowing you to attack each disc multiple times.
Sweezy

Voiced by: Betsy Sodaro
How to unlock: Play the first mission
Okay, so Sweezy’s time bubble is a total lifesaver! I’ve found it’s super important for getting through some of the trickier puzzles, but honestly, it’s also awesome for slowing down enemies when things get hectic. Definitely a skill I rely on a lot.
Sheath

Voiced by: Ralph Ineson
How to unlock: Complete the Senator Muppy Doo mission
Sheath’s attack is similar to the one used by Yondu in Guardians of the Galaxy, making it great for pulling groups of enemies together.
Travis

Voiced by: Ken Marino
How to unlock: Complete the Billionaire Larry Pinkstock mission
While Travis isn’t the strongest weapon, his unique ability can lift enemies and even certain platforms, which is helpful for solving puzzles.
Creature

Voiced by: Tim Robinson
How to unlock: Interact with Creature during the main mission to pick up Jeppy
Here’s a helpful tip: The terrifying offspring of the Creature are incredibly effective for controlling groups of enemies. If you find yourself surrounded, quickly send out as many of these babies as you can to divert attention and deal damage to your opponents.
B.A.L.L.

Voiced by: Michael Cusack, Nathan Faustyn and David Herman
How to unlock: Find the three blue men at locations in the open world (see video guide)
If you enjoyed the High on Knife DLC, you’ll find B.A.L.L.’s attack—like Gus’s—really useful when dealing with groups of enemies. Just lower the pinball bumper, fire a ball into it, and let it bounce around!
Jan

Voiced by: Gabourey Sidibe
How to unlock: Complete the mission to have dinner with your mum
Playing with two guns after teaming up with Travis is a really enjoyable experience.
Bowie

Voiced by: Frankie Quinones
How to unlock: Complete the Finance Wiz James Stevenson mission
Don’t forget about Bowie’s special ability! It’s really important for solving some puzzles and defeating bosses. It lets you reveal hidden weak spots, so use it whenever you’re stuck!
Honourable mention: Shoot-o
Voiced by: Alec Robbins
How to unlock: Complete the mission that starts with visiting the Party City store.
Here’s a helpful tip: After equipping Suit-O, you can use his gravity ability to toss objects without switching weapons – just press LB or L1.
