Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is now available on PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 owners can upgrade to the new version for free.
You might have forgotten about Shadow Tactics, so here’s a reminder: This strategy game originally came out on PlayStation in 2017 and received very positive feedback from reviewers and gamers alike.
People still believe this work was underrated and deserved a larger audience. Hopefully, this new release will help it gain the recognition it deserves.
Our review of Shadow Tactics, originally published several years ago, praised it as a refreshing take on stealth strategy – a genre that hadn’t been prominent on PlayStation for quite some time. We highlighted the game’s immersive atmosphere, compelling characters, and the way its historical setting enhanced the gameplay.
The PlayStation 5 version of the game will run much smoother, offering 60 frames per second at 4K resolution, and will load significantly faster.
Enjoyed Shadow Tactics? Now you can play it on PS5! Let us know what you think in the comments!
