Hilaria & Alec Baldwin Selling $20M Hamptons Home for New “Adventure”

Hilaria Baldwin is saying “adios” to the Hamptons.

Hilaria Baldwin, known from Dancing With the Stars, announced that she and her husband, Alec Baldwin, are planning to sell their home on Long Island. While they’re excited about what’s next, they’re also feeling sad about leaving a place they’ve lived in for a long time.

Hilaria recently shared on Instagram how much her family enjoys their time in the Hamptons. She described making wonderful memories at their home, especially during the summers – swimming in their pool, going to the nearby beach, and sending the kids to camp. It’s a place where they love to cook, relax, and spend quality time together, and she calls it a beautiful and special place.

Hilaria Baldwin, 42, hinted that she, her husband Alec, 67, and their six children – Carmen, 12, Rafael, 10, Leonardo, 9, Romeo, 7, Eduardo and María, both 5, and Ilaria, 3 – are about to embark on a trip. While she didn’t reveal their destination, she described leaving the Hamptons as both happy and sad.

The couple hopes to sell their nearly 9,000 square foot home, listed for almost $20 million, to buyers who will cherish it as much as they do.

I was so excited to hear all about the property Hilaria described! It’s an incredible house with five bedrooms and a whopping six full and two half bathrooms. But what really struck me was the land – over ten acres! She mentioned how rare that much privacy is in the area, and honestly, that’s a huge part of what makes this place so special.

The former yoga instructor added, “It is a piece of paradise.”

As many of you know, my husband Alec and I have been thinking about a change of scenery. We’ve been discussing the possibility of moving from New York, and the West Coast has definitely been on our minds. Of course, Alec is also a dad to Ireland, who’s thirty, from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger, and we’re all considering what’s best for our family as a whole.

She told Gurus Magazine in December that her family was planning to leave the Hamptons. They’re thinking about moving to Los Angeles for a fresh start and a change of pace.

Hilaria and Alec Baldwin first put their Long Island house up for sale in 2022 with an asking price of $29 million. They lowered the price twice, eventually reducing it to $22.5 million before taking the listing down in 2023. They attempted to sell it again in 2024 and relisted it in December of that year for $21 million. The price has since been reduced to its current level of $19,995,000.

Alec Baldwin shared with the New York Times that he met Hilaria Thomas at a New York restaurant called Pure Food and Wine in February 2011. He gave her his phone number, and after a bit of back-and-forth, they finally made plans to have dinner together.

That August they enjoyed their first US Open together, one of Alec’s favorite events.

Alec first noticed Hilaria at an Elton John AIDS Foundation benefit in October 2011, and they began living together the next month.

Alec Baldwin and Hilaria were together at the Cannes Film Festival in 2012. He explained that after his divorce, he did a lot of thinking about what he wanted in a relationship and in life. He realized he’d overthought things and wasn’t prepared to start dating again until he met Hilaria.

 

In April 2012, Alec’s rep confirmed to TopMob News that he and Hilaria were engaged.

Hilaria and Ireland Baldwin often share about their close friendship on Twitter. Ireland playfully tweeted that she’d be a flower girl at a wedding, but she ended up being a bridesmaid.

The couple got married on June 30, 2012, in a ceremony held at the Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in Manhattan. The bride wore a beautiful trumpet-style silk magnolia gown by Amsale, and the groom looked sharp in a Tom Ford tuxedo.

The couple now has seven children: Carmen Gabriela (born August 23, 2013), Rafael Thomas (June 17, 2015), Leonardo Ángel Charles (September 12, 2016), Romeo Alejandro David (May 17, 2018), Eduardo “Edu” Pao Lucas (September 8, 2020), María Lucía Victoria (born February 25, 2021, via surrogacy), and Ilaria Catalina Irena (September 22, 2022).
