Hilaria Baldwin had to quick step it out to Los Angeles for Dancing With the Stars.
Hilaria Baldwin, founder of Yoga Vida, who lives in New York with her husband Alec Baldwin and their seven children – Carmen (11), Rafael (10), Leonardo (8), Romeo (7), Eduardo and María Lucía (both 4), and Ilaria (2) – shared that she didn’t have much time to get ready before competing on season 34 of a reality TV show.
She admitted to TopMob News’ Will Marfuggi that she only joined the show right before it began, as it hadn’t been on her mind at all. She explained it happened very quickly – the show contacted her after someone recommended her, and she found herself on a plane just days later, questioning how she’d ended up there.
Hilaria explained that after moving her family, she immediately questioned her decision. She was still at the airport, even before collecting her luggage, when she signed the papers for a new house, all while chasing after her two-year-old who was playfully pushing her dolls in a toy stroller.
But, as the 41-year-old said, “I did it and I’m here and I’m happy.”
Even though she wasn’t fully ready for the competition, Hilaria said she’s just looking forward to enjoying the experience with her partner, Gleb Savchenko, no matter how far they go.
She said the experience flies by, no matter how far you get in the competition. It’s over before you know it, but it’s a really positive and encouraging place to be. Everyone is so kind and supportive, which is surprising! She’s just focused on enjoying every moment and appreciating the chance to dance and have fun.

The mother of seven was also thankful for her family’s support as she pursued her dream of dancing.
She expressed how thankful she was to have her family’s support. She feels that being a mother means prioritizing everyone else’s needs, often putting her own aside, and she embraces that role. She works just as hard as a mom as she does when she’s performing.
You know, I just love connecting with people and feeling that shared energy when I’m pursuing something I’m passionate about. It’s incredibly uplifting to realize others are cheering you on, and honestly, it makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable. It’s about creating a positive vibe where everyone can have a good time!
The actress from *Baldwins*, wearing a shimmering, bright green feathered mini-dress while dancing the cha-cha to Jennifer Lopez’s “Let’s Get Loud,” shared that her children aren’t accustomed to seeing her in elaborate outfits like that.
Hilaria explained that people were surprised by her outfit. “They really loved it, but they were also kind of shocked,” she said. “Can you picture a mom covered in rhinestones? It’s definitely not what I usually wear!”
