Hilaria Baldwin Reacts to Alec Baldwin’s Appearance on DWTS

There’s nothing complicated about Alec Baldwin‘s support of Hilaria Baldwin.

Alec Baldwin, known from *30 Rock*, was in the audience supporting his wife, Hilaria, during her first dance on *Dancing With the Stars*. They brought two of their seven children, and Hilaria was very grateful to have them there.

Oh my gosh, she was just *so* sweet after the premiere! She told Will Marfuggi from TopMob News that she’s just incredibly thankful her family is there for her. And it was the most genuine thing ever! She said being a mom means always putting everyone else first, and she *loves* that! She truly feels she works just as hard as a mom as she does when she’s performing – it’s amazing! I’m seriously obsessed with how dedicated she is to her family *and* her career.

“It’s just really enjoyable to put myself out there knowing people are supportive,” the 41-year-old explained. She shares eleven-year-old Carmen, ten-year-old Rafael, eight-year-old Leonardo, seven-year-old Romeo, four-year-old twins Eduardo and María Lucía, and two-year-old Ilaria with Alec, and added, “It’s a fun experience, and we can all enjoy it together.”

The actress from *Baldwins* explained that her children aren’t accustomed to her wearing elaborate outfits. She wore a shimmering, bright green, feathered mini-dress while dancing the cha-cha with her partner, Gleb Savchenko, to Jennifer Lopez’s song “Let’s Get Loud.”

Hilaria explained that people were surprised by her outfit. “They loved it, but it was definitely unexpected!” she said. “It’s not something you’d normally see a mom wearing – all those rhinestones!”

The founder of Yoga Vida mentioned she joined season 34 of *Dancing with the Stars* very suddenly, which made the already challenging show even more hectic.

She remembered thinking, ‘What have I done?’ after relocating her family. The move was chaotic – she even signed the house contract while still at the airport, rushing to keep up with her two-year-old, who was playfully pushing her dolls in a toy stroller.

But, as Hilaria said, “I did it and I’m here and I’m happy.”

Before the performance, the retired dancer-forced to stop her career after a hip injury at 25-was also pleasantly surprised by visits from her husband during a few of her practice sessions.

Before Hilaria danced, Alec shared in a video that she used to dance constantly, but stopped until she had health insurance. He said she’s now giving it her all, and he’s very proud of her.

During a practice run, Alec walked into the room and lightly tapped Gleb on the shoulder, asking if he could join the dance. He then playfully pretended to take the professional dancer’s hand instead of his wife’s.

As Hilaria quipped, “I think they hired the wrong Baldwin!”
