Hilaria Baldwin is two-stepping toward the haters.
After being eliminated from *Dancing With the Stars* last week, the 41-year-old contestant explained what she thinks led to her and partner Gleb Savchenko being voted off of season 34.
Hilaria admitted she was driven off the show by online criticism during her time on *Dancing with the Stars*. In an October 12th Instagram Live session, she confirmed, “I did get bullied off the show, that is for sure.”
Hilaria Baldwin, known for her role on *The Baldwins* and mother to Carmen (11), Rafael (10), Leonardo (8), Romeo (7), Eduardo and MarĂa LucĂa (both 4), and Ilaria (2) with husband Alec Baldwin, has often spoken out about receiving negative comments online while appearing on the ABC show.
After being eliminated on October 9th, she spoke with season 33 winner Joey Graziadei on the showâs podcast about a concerning trend sheâs noticed online. She explained that people, especially women, are too quick to turn on each other and create conflict instead of support. She believes this negativity between women needs to stop if they ever want to make progress.
Hilaria used World Mental Health Day as an opportunity to discuss the intense bullying she experienced while competing on *Dancing With the Stars*, describing it as a deliberate and organized effort.
She acknowledged in an Instagram video on October 13th that she had been bullied recently. “I need to talk about whatâs been happening,” she said, “because there’s been some bullying directed at me over the past few weeks.”
Hilaria explained that people often tell her they’re surprised by the negativity she experiences. She says this is hurtful because she doesn’t believe those negative comments reflect who she truly is.
The former yoga instructor also spoke out against the widespread negativity and harassment she believes public figures are facing.

Hilaria explained that this kind of behavior destroys lives and harms people’s mental well-being, and it’s incredibly common. She said some of the people who have harassed her for years, spreading false information and lies, will only be happy when she’s no longer around, and she feels like nothing she does will ever satisfy them.
Even with all the criticism, Hilaria is grateful to the people who supported her and helped her get on the show.
She expressed how thankful she was for being on *Dancing with the Stars*. She never imagined sheâd dance again, and credited fans for writing to the show and making the experience possible.
Hilaria shared how grateful she was to experience this with her family. She also said she enjoyed meeting everyone and is looking forward to supporting her fellow cast members.
