About
As a big fan of the Hiryu no Ken series, I was really excited to see the Hiryu no Ken Collection released! It gathers four of the earliest games, and it’s awesome to see how the series started. These games are all about mixed martial arts battles, but they each do things a little differently. You’ve got classic versus fighting, fast-paced side-scrolling action, and even some RPG-style character growth. It’s a great way to experience the variety the series has to offer!
A key feature of this series is the ‘Shingan System,’ a unique combat mechanic where players target specific points on their opponent’s body to both attack and defend. Beyond the martial arts action, the series features a continuing storyline about a powerful demon’s return and the fight against ‘Dragon Fang,’ an evil group trying to take over the world.
This collection lets players enjoy the first games in the series on PC, all in one place. It’s a great way to see how each game was unique and what made it special.
