Dice Throne Digital is a partnership between the popular board game Dice Throne and the game developers at Nerd Ninjas. To fund the project, they’re launching a Kickstarter campaign on April 14th, where fans can contribute and receive special rewards.

By late 2025, there were 15 different heroes available, ranging from classic types like Barbarians and Artificers to more unique characters like Moon Elves and Cursed Pirates. With so many heroes and ways to play, Dice Throne keeps both new and experienced players coming back for more. However, while the board game is easy to learn, many players want a simpler way to play with friends who aren’t nearby.
Fans of the board game Dice Throne have been asking for a digital version for a long time, and it’s finally happening! Dice Throne Digital will bring the quick, strategic gameplay and unique Heroes from the original game to a new platform. Both the board game and now the digital version have benefited from major crowdfunding campaigns. According to Nate Chatellier, CEO of Nerd Ninjas and co-creator of Dice Throne, creating a digital version has “been a dream since the very beginning,” and that dream is now becoming a reality.
