In *Hollow Knight: Silksong*, Hornet uses special abilities that consume Silk from a spool displayed below her health. Players can increase the size of this Silk spool throughout the game by finding and collecting Spool Fragments – two fragments add one extra segment to the spool.

This guide provides a complete list of all 18 Spool Fragments in *Hollow Knight: Silksong*, detailing where to find each one.

Bellhart

Once you finish the ‘My Missing Courier’ quest, Frey will be available, and you’ll be able to purchase the Spool Fragment from them for 270 Rosaries.

Blasted Steps

To find Grindle, head down the tall shaft at the top of the area, about halfway down the left side. He sells a fragment for 680 Rosaries, but you’ll need a Faydown Cloak to get there.

Choral Chambers

Finish the quest ‘The Lost Merchant’ and then talk to Jubilana at the Songclave. She’ll sell you a fragment for 500 Rosaries.

Cogwork Core

Head to the bottom of the area and keep going right, descending as you go. Defeat the enemy, then pass through the gate and continue to the end on the right.

Deep Docks

Begin at the shaft in the lower-left corner of the area. Then, enter the passage located about halfway up the right side. To get the fragment in this large room, you’ll need to jump across platforms all the way to the right, then turn around and come back to the left.

At the very end of Deep Docks, find the boot-shaped shaft. You’ll need a Simple Key and Clawline to unlock the door there.

Grand Gate

Platform your way to the top of the moving mechanism in Grand Gate to get to a fragment.

Greymoor

At the top of the larger shaft situated between Sinner’s Road and Craw Lake. Requires Cling Grip.

Once you’ve found 15 Lost Fleas and spoken with the Flea Caravan, follow them on their way to Blasted Steps.

High Halls

Using Clawline and Cling Grip, get to the very summit of the leftmost shaft in High Halls.

Memorium

On the left side of the main passage, there’s a thorny area you’ll need to carefully pass through. The fragment is located a little below the halfway point.

Grotto

Exit the elevator and turn right into the tunnel just above the entrance to The Marrow. Continue upwards, and break through the wall past the traps you find there.

The Slab

Start at the base of The Slab and climb upwards on the left side of the tall, thin crack using the Cling Grip technique.

Underworks

Begin at the shaft overlooking the path to Wisp Thicket, then turn right and enter the lower passage. Defeat the enemies you encounter until you find the fragment.

To get into the Underworks, go through Whiteward and immediately turn right. Keep going down until you reach the lowest level of this big area.

Weavenest Atla

In the center of Weavenest Atla, find the passageway that curves slightly to the left and head halfway down it. Then, start climbing using Cling Grip.

Whiteward

Ride the elevator to the ground floor. Then, use the connecting hallways to return to the top and call the elevator back down. While you’re in one of the hallways on the way back up, wait for the elevator to pass, and then go all the way to the bottom of the elevator shaft to find the fragment.

Complete Balm for the Wounded and interact with Sherma to get this fragment.
