Team Cherry is bringing it to us earlier than expected, before the holidays in 2025, contrary to previous predictions. Whether or not familiar faces from the first game make an appearance remains to be seen, as players bid farewell to Hallownest. Initial responses suggest that the gameplay is reminiscent of “Hollow Knight”, providing fans with more of their desired experience.
Little is publicly disclosed about the game, with Team Cherry choosing to keep details under wraps. Yet, fans can anticipate fresh landscapes and methods to navigate them, over 150 new adversaries to engage in thrilling combat with, intriguing puzzles and platforming sections, and an entirely novel narrative to uncover.
