A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder (2019)

In a captivating and intelligent style, Holly Jackson makes her literary debut with “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder.” The story is set in a fictional town named Little Kilton, Buckinghamshire, where we meet Pippa ‘Pip’ Fitz-Amobi, an avid true crime fan. Driven by curiosity and determination, Pip embarks on an investigation into the unsolved murder of Andie, the popular girl at school, and the suspicious suicide of Sal, who was accused of being the culprit.

Good Girl, Bad Blood (2020)

In the sequel of the Good Girl’s Guide series, titled “Good Girl, Bad Blood,” we find ourselves picking up immediately following the thrilling events from the previous book. Our heroine, Pip, has recently started a podcast based on her experiences detailed in the first novel and is receiving praise online for her sleuthing skills as an amateur detective. However, despite the dangerous outcomes of her initial investigation, she finds it hard to step away entirely when a friend calls upon her for help. She eventually succumbs to the request, unable to resist lending a hand.

As Good As Dead (2021)

In the subsequent volume of the series, events unfold post-Good Girl, Bad Blood, leaving Pip severely traumatized and battling insomnia. Matters take a dismal turn when she’s pursued by a sinister individual who seems linked to her previous investigations.

Kill Joy (2021)

The novella titled “Kill Joy” serves as a prequel, occurring before “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder.” In this story, the protagonist Pip is unwillingly drawn into a 1920s-themed murder mystery dinner. However, once she gets involved, she becomes captivated by the case and feels compelled to solve it. It’s quite possible that the mystery she unravels in “Kill Joy” could influence her later investigations throughout Pip’s life.

Five Survive (2022)

In another captivating novel, Holly Jackson, renowned for “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder,” introduces Five Survive. Stepping away from her familiar world, this story centers around Red and her companions embarking on a Spring Break journey in an RV. However, their adventure takes an unexpected turn when a mysterious sniper flattens their tires. The group soon realizes that one of them harbors a secret so valuable that it could cost a life…

The Reappearance of Rachel Price (2024)
