According to TMZ, director Rob Reiner, 78, and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, 68, were found dead at their Los Angeles home on December 14th. Police were present at the scene, and both reportedly died from injuries that appeared to be caused by knives. Reiner began his entertainment career in 1967 as a writer and actor. He initially gained recognition writing with Steve Martin for The Smothers Brothers and later as a cast member on the sitcom All in the Family. He then became a globally successful director, starting with his first film, This is Spinal Tap.
